Beautiful home, beautiful view, lots of space, short drive to trails and quaint Port Gamble. Hosts were kind and accommodating. Bring your own griddle, crockpot, large mixing bowls and serving utensils. There is no stove but there is a fridge and microwave. Very basic kitchenette- could improve by adding basic spices and conveniences likealuminum foil and bowls/trays. They tolerated our large female group giggling and karaoke-ing till quiet hours and it's a great spot to just get away and be together. We did not use any of the 'extra' amenities such as the hot tub due to the extra cost. Note the main room of the house has a gap in the door that separates the space so it did not feel completely secure or separate from the main part of the house.
How the downstairs (rental portion) is separated from the main house.
Beach view/access from the edge of the property.

There were quite a few issues with this property. We arrived in the evening and the host came out to meet us- wanted to take copies of any adult IDs and have us sign liability waivers. There were no lights on the pathway to the door and it was very dark and raining- the little path to that door is only wide enough for a roller bag to follow so quite narrow. Once at the door the host gave us the code on a sticky note and we were asked to take our shoes off which is okay I guess but the rugs in the hall weren’t really secured to the floor. The lock locks automatically and fortunately our kiddos are older - I would be very concerned that someone will end up on one side and not be able to get back in - whether that be a child or adult. Once inside - the listing says there is a washer and dryer which were not made available to us. We spent an hour and a half trying to watch It’s Thanksgiving Charlie Brown. Nothing was hooked up properly we moved a television from the floor to a cabinet after spending an hour with the projector that was left behind by the old owner- and that was much of our stay- dealing with the projector to watch a less than 30 minute video - there are televisions in multiple rooms, none of them are hooked up to work properly. Even in spaces with a television and old vhs movies - there is no player. There a is a Roku- it is not set up to connect to anything. No direct access to hot tub and space isn’t secure with accordion door separating their house from space.
