We wanted to reach out regarding our check-in experience at your property. Unfortunately, it didn’t go smoothly.   •   The cleaning service arrived late, so the unit wasn’t ready at the scheduled check-in time. Our check was scheduled for 4:00 pm Sept 26th. The cleaning service employee was kind and apologized so we said we will arrange our plans and go to ours son's place and leave her to clean our unit. She was the one who showed us how to operated the touch screen entrance lock. We practiced our access code to assure we would be able to enter when we returned later.    •   Since the entrance lock directions were unclear, it caused further delays getting settled. •. When we returning late the first evening the key pad was removed. Panicking and thinking we would not have a place to sleep, we checked the door and the unit was left open. The door was NOT locked. We felt unsafe with this evenings stay but were left with no other options but to stay this night. When leaving to the University for our second days stay we were unable to lock the unit since the access code wouldn't work since it had been moved to the front door. We took all belongings and decided not to stay due to safety reasons and therefore had to drive to our hometown and leave our weekend stay early. Since we’re here for University of Dayton’s Parent Weekend, our time is limited, and the check-in difficulties were stressful after traveling. We wanted to make you aware.
