“Castaways" Atlantic Beach Family Fun Cottage

Cute vacation cottage, central heat/ air-conditioning, sleeps eight, kitchen/living area, two private bedrooms and one 'sleep porch', one bath. There is a hot/cold shower on the back porch also. Great back yard area for gathering. Three blocks (0.15 of a mile) from the beach with public access walkway to the beach directly beside the house. Four night minimum in summer months. Check in at 4 pm on your arrival date. Check out at 11 am on your departure date. There is a 50% deposit at time of reservation and remainder is due two weeks before check-in. Sorry, we do not allow pets.

short stay at the beach

excellent property for those who want a good location in "old Atlantic Beach". Easy to walk to beach, quiet, nice back yard, wireless connection was excellent for viewing streaming. A neat little house. I will definitely stay here again. All we needed but not like a shiny condo just built. I prefer the atmosphere of old Atlantic Beach and the traditional cottage feel. If you like that, you will really like this place.

Castaways was perfect for our first trip to Atlantic Beach! The house was very clean and was a short 5 minute walk to the beach. We had an amazing time and we WILL be returning!

Cute clean cottage.

The cottage was just right for us. It was immaculate and amply furnished with many cute decorations. It was a short walk to the beach and a few restaurants and the weather was great.

Cozy and comfortable

The description matched perfectly. The 2 inside bedrooms are spacious and the sleeping porch is great for accommodating extra people. The washer and dryer on site are great amenities for a beach trip. Would definitely stay again!

Amazing Location

This property is a great place to stay. The owners were amazing! We were close to restaurants, short walk to the beach, close to Fort macon and stores. We enjoyed Smores in the backyard and rocking chairs on the front porch on a quiet street.

We really liked the house had everything you needed. Our visit was cut short due to a family emergency unfortunately but we hope to come back and stay real soon! We loved where it was located and close to everything! The owners were great!

Loved this Beach Cottage

My family and I stayed at this property and it did not disappoint. It was closer to the beach than we had expected and easy walk to several restaurants. It was warm and cozy with several amenities. It felt like we were at home and we loved it!

Very clean and well equipped

The place was super clean and well equipped with all the basics. Owner was quick to reply and food lion only about 5 minutes away. We enjoyed our stay and will be back.

Perfect little beach cottage

Pictures do not do it justice. Very clean and cozy, accommodated our 2 families of four comfortably. Short walk to the beach, the fire pit was a great little bonus! Definitely plan to come back.

Cute cottage

Love the cottage. Close to the beach and restaurants. Quiet neighborhood. Host provided everything we might need. Cottage was clean and well maintained.We are already making plans to return for a longer stay.
