Ocean Yacht Club View

This 1450 sqft feet spacious, fully furnished 2 bedroom apt has a superb location. It is in the first block, closest to the sea which provides unobstructed view and complete privacy. It is located in a gated complex with 24 hour security in the prime, safest, Montego bay Freeport neighbourhood. It is within walking distance to Yacht Club, Beach and Secrets hotel. My place is good for couples, solo and business travellers, families (with kids), big groups.

Space
Complex has 2 swimming pool, small beach, 5 min walk to Secrets Hotel and you can have access to the beach . It is 10-15 min drive from Montego Bay airport and 7-10 min drive to worlds famous Hip Strip and Dr Cave beach. We have wifi , washer and fully equipped kitchen. Please note, the space is ideally suitable for 2 couples. Living room can be used for additional people but the sleeping arrangement there would be either a couch or inflatable mattress.
Guest access
Fully equipped kitchen and fully furnished apartment, wifi, washer , dryer, 24 hour security, 2 swimming pools, bbq area, yacht club access, we can also arrange taxi and private tours for you. Airport pick up is 30$ (we wait for you as long as it takes), or 50$ round trip. in addition, guest have free beach access .

Neighborhood overview
Freeport is one of the safest residential neighbourhood in the entire Jamaica. It is located on a small peninsula and you would be able to observe water from our complex and across the street. It is a hub for all yachts and cruise ships. Adding to a beautiful view both during the day time and night. The main beach is besides Secrets hotel by Hard Rock Cafe. While you have a free access there (dr cave you would need to pay$6). You wont be able to access Secrets hotel unless you buy a day pass ($120), There are few dining options within walking distance. Yacht club Seahorse Grill (closest), HouseBoat grill (voted as top 3 restaurants in Jamaica), restaurant and Montego Freeport shopping center. Within 5 min drive you can reach Jerkys, Fairview plaza with few restaurants, groceries stores (my favourite is Progressive Foods), coffee shops (Blue Café inside Fontana), several Banks, movie theater, 24 hour doctor, pharmacy. Also there is Mosino casino 5 min drive from us (besides Megamart grocery store). Pier 1 is also close by and great option for dinner and dancing ( wed and fri night). Famous hipstrip with its shopping, Margaritaville restaraunts and dr Cave beach is within 7-10 min drive.

Getting around
The only public transportation is route taxi (1$ per person to downtown. And another 1$ if you want to go from downtown to hip strip or airport). They have red plates and sign on the side of the car. You will share your car with other people. For everything else you will need a private cab. The prices will depend on your negotiation skills. We have guests who get a ride for 5$ to hip strip and others who pay 25$. Average would be 8-10$. You should confirm a price before getting into the car and always negotiate. There are a lot of drivers by Sunscape hotel.

Other things to note
In Freeport you can walk safely at night. You can request a helper at extra price to provide additional cleaning, cooking, grocery shopping.
