Four levels of living space await you at Exceeding Expectations near State Park and WISP Ski Resort!
This mountainside home has many amenities. Relax in one of 6 private master suites (4 King Suites (one with trundle bed too), 2 Queen Suites. There is a 7th private room with a sleeper sofa -pillow top mattress and private bathroom. ***Swim in your private indoor swimming pool (indoor walkway to the pool), surrounded with many windows to enjoy the beautiful scenery, or soak in the outdoor hot tub. There is plenty of space to spread out! The game room includes foosball, a pool table and a wet bar. Have some delicious S'mores by our fire-pit in the evening! Flat screens throughout the house and in every bedroom. Located in the Pinnacle community, this rental home has access to community tennis courts and a basketball hoop and lake access. It is very close to Deep Creek State Park and within 10-15 minutes to the ski slopes and golf course of Wisp, this chalet is great for large groups in need of a vacation.

The club fee includes free access to the indoor aquatic and fitness center, welcome firewood and wine, neighborhood amenities and dedicated dock slip in the summer.

We can offer almost complete refunds...If you need to cancel, we do our best to rebook at the same price - we then refund your money minus the administrative fee charged by Railey and price difference if new reservation was lower.

This house was gorgeous and perfect for our large group of adults and kids (teenagers and babies). Everything was really clean, convenient and comfortable. There was so much space and plenty of amenities on each level of the house. The host was fantastic - super responsive and did everything to ensure we had a great stay. Loved this home and can't wait to stay again sometime soon!

The host is excellent, very responsive and wants to be sure guests enjoy their stay. House was great, there were 13 of us, all ages and everyone enjoyed it. Very close to WISP and activities for kids.

Perfect mountain getaway

we enjoyed the home immensely and took advantage of its close proximity to all activities that deep creek has to offer as well as all the amenities the house has to offer. hope to stay here again some day.

Wonderful getaway

Had a wonderful time visiting deep creek. The home was wonderful for all our families. We enjoyed hiking near by, fires at night, and the kids and adults took advantage of the pool and hotube. Would definitely stay at this house again!

The host was amazing...very attentive if we needed her for something before our stay and during. The house was very nice and we all loved having our own full bathrooms! The kitchen could have been stocked more and with updated pots, pans, serving trays and mixing bowls. The pool was huge and when we needed it warmer, they made it warmer and it was amazing. Only issue was the lighting in the evening. There needs to be better lighting in the hall leading to the pool, in the pool area and a light in the pool itself. It was hard to keep track of the littles when they were in the water. And the hot tub could've been a little bigger. For the amount of people this house sleeps, the hot tub was on the small side. But overall it was a very nice stay!

Our family of 19 had an amazing Thanksgiving holiday at this home. Can’t say more about the host and the attentiveness to our needs while booking and during our stay!! 11 children had an absolute blast swimming !! Highly recommend!!

Another Great Stay

This is our second time staying at Exceeding Expectations. The house is excellent for large groups. The kids enjoyed the lower floors with lots of games and activities. The pool and hot tub were wonderful for fun after skiing. The kitchen and living areas are large and can fit lots of people comfortably. And the owner went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed.

Family Thanksgiving

We had a wonderful time for the 19 of us. There were plenty of things for the children to do in the home.; they loved the pool. We all appreciated the bon fire outside while the weather permitted; plenty of wood. Day trips to the nearby State Park provided hiking and just enjoying the beautiful outdoors.

WE HAD A BLAST

We get together every year for a week. Family members from around the country. This place was perfect we could all have meals at the table together. The kitchen was big enough for 3-4 of to put the meals together. The kids had room to play through out the house. The Poll be covered and inside ment if we had a rainy day it became a pool day. Amazing

I was very pleased with this home. Any questions I had before or during our stay were answered promptly. The house was clean and stocked with the items that they had promised. There was a bathroom for every bedroom so our families didnt have to share. The indoor pool worked out great due to the rain we had during our stay. It was a beautiful neighbor hood with lots of wildlife to observe. Although the neighbors may appear to be close, all of the trees and foliage made it feel very private. Plenty to do for all age ranges. Lots of amazing restaurants. I would love to plan a trip again for next year!

Wonderful Anniversary Celebration!

Exceeding Expectations was the perfect place to gather our entire family with spouses and grandchildren to celebrate our 50th Anniversary. The house was big enough to accommodate us all, allowing plenty of space for both together time and privacy. The Weather wasn't the greatest the week we were there so everyone loved having the pool especially the toddlers, and our teens organized arcade and foose ball contests among families. The kitchen is well equipped and the property is well located for sight seeing and taking advantage of local attractions. The owner Laurie C. Is a delight to work with and the staff at Railey Homes was attentive and responsive to any and all questions or needs. Highly recommend this home for any vacation you may be planning.

All Around WONDERFUL!

Our family does an annual vacation including grandparents, kids, cousins and friends. Finding that “just right” location for a large group isn’t always easy. Well…we found it here! From the at-home feel of the great room to the cozy comfort of the bedrooms this home (more than just a house) gave us a place to relax, refresh and create summer memories. Some things we just loved: the indoor pool, the supersized dining room table, the natural light through the windows, and I can’t forget the lighted steps! Laurie was an amazing host! She was so attentive, helpful and caring. We had one issue and she was understanding and caring and attentive. Deep Creek 2023 Family Vacation was a huge success!

Exceeding Expectations is right!

We planned for a group of 12 adults to spend a long weekend at this rental. We booked it because it had an indoor pool (how cool?!), a hot tub, plenty of communal, and each bedroom had at least a queen sized mattress and its own bathroom! It’s often difficult to find such amenities when traveling with just couples and Exceeding Expectations hit a home run! The kitchen was stocked with all of the basic cookware you could need. There were two large refrigerators as well as two ovens, which worked wonderfully for a large group. The bedrooms were all very spacious and the common areas were as well. There is more than enough room to spread out or find a quiet place for some alone time. It would easily accommodate a few more people as well! The host, Laurie was incredibly attentive, kind, and very responsive when we had a few minor hiccups during our stay. She was the icinig on the cake of the entire experience! We will 100% be back to this rental in the future for family or friend trips!

Exceeding Expectations definitely lives up to its name

Good old Mother Nature was sending us her April showers limiting our outdoor activities however your home provided us with so much to do - we never really needed to step outside. The kitchen was great. The two refrigerators were full and we prepared and shared some awesome and memorable meals made better by your oversized dining table allowing us to eat together - reminiscing for hours about the decades of memories we have been blessed to share as parents, children, cousins and in-laws. Our competitive and coaching side came out - as we all used the pool table and foosball table for hours of laughs and competitive fun. At the end of our days we played a few rounds of volley ball in the swimming pool and then relaxed in the hot tub. Thank you on behalf of our entire family for a wonderful weekend and new memories added to the archives of our life’s journey. To quote one of the youngest cousins, “We had a blast!” As we said our goodbyes on Sunday morning everyone was saying, (We should do this again same place same time next year.” My husband and I are thinking about it - I may be calling to book again for April 2017. Thanks for the memories.

We had an amazing stay at this house—it was perfect for families! The pool, hot tub, and pool table were a huge hit with everyone and kept both kids and adults entertained the entire time. The location was great too, with just a short walk down to the lake, which made it easy to enjoy the water and beautiful views. In the evenings, we loved gathering around the outdoor fire pit to relax and spend time together. This home truly had everything we needed for a fun, comfortable, and memorable family vacation. Highly recommend!

The house was awesome. Plenty of bedrooms (6 bedrooms) for our group of 13. We appreciated the fact that each bedroom had it's own private bathroom. The huge dining table, which could accommodate everyone at one time, allowed us many opportunities for quality family time. Home was clean & well maintained. Our favorite feature was the heated indoor pool. Kids played there for hours. Outside, the ground was covered in snow. Deers wandered by often. The pool water was delightfully warm. The room itself was also comfortably warm for those parents that watched from the lounge chairs. Hosts quickly responded to our questions. Overall, I would highly recommend this home for a large group. We enjoyed everything the home offered during the Winter season and hope to revisit during the Summer or Fall to make use of the other amenities available.

The house was amazing. Very clean and so much room for our group of 18. The entertaining spaces allowed us to spread out. Kids really enjoyed the pool and the game room and the adults loved the large living space upstairs.

Better than pictured!

This was a great way to spend a week. Some in our group ventured out but half of us never left! Private, comfortable pool, tons of space on the decks… we usually watch a bunch of TV but we never turned one on here. Laurie did great with our requests, quite a mind for customer service. Though I never liked interacting with the Riley, I will say that when a smoke detector 25’ up a ceiling started chirping at midnight one night, there was someone there pretty quick with a big ladder to solve the problem. I would be happy to return, but may try check out Laurie’s other property instead!

It’s all in the name and it lives up to it, Exceeding Expectations!

We love this property, it’s location, the owner, and the service from Railey’s. The house’s amenities were fantastic. Our family enjoyed our week in Deep Creek largely due to the home base that Exceeding Expectations provided. We are coming back to this home.

The house was very accommodating for our famiily of 16 (10 adults and 6 children)

The area is beautiful with lots to do. and we were fortunate to have lovely weather. Our only complaint would be the pool. Since it was totally enclosed by glass with a loud dehumidifier running constantly, we found it to be very hot and noisy inside. In the winter, I'm sure it's better, but not in the summer. Being enclosed it also had a strong smell of chlorine. We prefer an outdoor pool. That said, everything else was very accommodating for our family and well supplied.

Exceeding Expectations!

I rented this house for my sister’s bachelorette weekend. We had 20 girls and there was more than enough room! We never felt cramped or on top of each other. The beds were super comfy and linens and towels were provided which was very nice. We were all amazed by how big and and gorgeous the house was. The hot tub was a big hit along with the HEATED INDOOR POOL!!! Laurie was amazing to work with. Throughout the whole booking process she was very responsive in answering all my questions. Even during our stay, she texted and emailed to see how everything was going and if we needed anything. I would definitely recommend Exceeding Expectations to everyone!

What makes this property unique

6 Master suites (one of the King bedrooms can sleep up to 4), 7th private room, 2 half bathrooms, indoor pool and the ability for 16 people to sit at the dining room at the same time plus 4 bar stools near by!

For Summer rentals-we can usually accommodate Sunday -Thursday inquiries. Last minute we will look into Thursday-Sunday.
