Our home is tastefully designed with warm countryside luxury in mind. The bedroom features a spacious, high-end Naturalmat bed, while the living room offers a comfortable sofa bed that sleeps two adults. Large windows frame breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape – and on cool evenings, the cozy living room invites you to relax with candlelight and a good book.
Step outside onto the terrace where you’ll find a hot tub, cold plunge, and outdoor shower – perfect for enjoying the starry skies, magical summer sunsets, or the dancing Northern Lights in winter.
Your hosts, Fanney and Valur, are deeply connected to Icelandic country life. Fanney is a passionate horsewoman who trains and competes with Icelandic horses, having won numerous awards in horsemanship. Valur is a paramedic nurse, firefighter, and musician, bringing both care and creativity to your stay. Life here revolves around the horses – guests can watch them grazing in the fields, see newborn foals in spring, and experience the Icelandic horse in its natural environment.
In winter, the countryside turns into a fairytale – horses on snow-covered fields under the shimmering Northern Lights and breathtaking sunrises and sunsets in vivid colors. In summer, the meadows turn lush and green, sheep and horses roam freely, and the golden evening sun reflects across the still fjord.
