About this property
The Monastery 15 Min to NYC Times Sq
Summary:
This SOHO-style loft property was completed for the discerning cosmopolitan client. Open living room, soaring 16-foot ceilings, exposed wood beams, exposed brick walls, oversized skylight, custom European kitchen, stainless steel appliances, and quartz countertop.
Ideally located four minutes away to Jersey City, seven minutes to Hoboken, and roughly 15 minutes to NYC. Metlife Stadium is 14 minutes away. Newark Airport is 20 minutes away. Nickelodeon Universe Theme Park is 15 minutes away.
The Space:
Please keep in mind this is my personal apartment. Most of my personal belongings will be put away during your stay. However, there will be items in the cabinets and fridge. Please feel free to help yourself as most of it is useful during your stay, such as Almond milk, condiments, spices, etc.
The Neighborhood:
Neighborhood: Situated between two beautifully historical churches and close to bars and restaurants, but also on a very quiet street.
History: two major waves of immigration, first of German speakers and then of Spanish speakers, greatly influenced the development and character of Union City. Its two nicknames, "Embroidery Capital of the United States" and "Little Havana on the Hudson," reflect important aspects of that history. Thousands visit Union City each year to see the nation's longest-running passion play and the annual Cuban Day Parade of New Jersey.
Getting Around:
There are several ways to get to and from the city. Below I will list just a few for your convenience.

PARKING: if you have a car, please note that parking is difficult to find during late evening hours. But there is always parking available on Paterson Plank RD. It’s about a 5-7 minute walk. It's in the back of the Food Bazaar Supermarket.
Other Things to Note:
Noise monitoring devices from Minut in the living room/dining area. Please refrain from playing music or anything loud in the bedroom. The walls are very thin.
