My husband told me to reserve a hotel for our trip to the Oregon coast and after looking at all of the ordinary, typical options in lodging I happened to come across Oregon Trail by the Creek and knew this was the one! And was it ever!!!
I kept it a secret from my husband and was rewarded by the look on his face when we arrived at our destination! He was very happily surprised!
Our host Ben, greeted us warmly and escorted us to our very own wagon tucked away in a secluded, utterly peaceful opening in the timber by a pond and meandering creek. It was so authentic I almost expected to hear “ wagons ho” the next morning!
The accommodations were just as described with everything needed for a comfortable stay. The wagon was immaculate , bedding clean and very comfortable and plenty of solar lights to see by when it became dark.
The bathroom was just a short , pretty little walk away and wonderful shower a short distance away up at the main house.
If you are wanting to break away from the ordinary this is for you!!!
The next morning we had a lovely visit with our host and hostess, visited their herd of gorgeous Norwegian Fjord horses and got acquainted with their kennel of friendly happy dogs. We feel we have made new, wonderful friends. Couldn’t recommend more
highly!!!
