About this property

The Upper East Life - 8593

Hardwood Floors, Renovated, SS Appliances, Bathroom Gut Renovated, Kitchen with stunning renovation including Quartz Counters. Fully furnished with high quality furniture. Incredible location. The Upper East Side is Manhattan's gold cost. Museum Mile is home to a row of some of the finest museums in the country, including the Guggenheim, the Jewish Museum and the Met. Steps from Central Park, Famous 5th Avenue and easy access to the entire city. Some of America’s most famous families have made their homes on the Upper East Side: the Roosevelts, Kennedys, Rockefellers, and Carnegies were all real-estate pioneers in the early 1900s and developed the neighborhood into a beautiful and posh place to live. For many, the Upper East Side is the ideal balance between cosmopolitan living and pastoral sensibility. The wealth of playgrounds, community centers, and schools make it feel like a suburb within the city.

8/10 Good

Good Short Term Rental
Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This studio is pretty spacious for New York City apartment sizes. It is recently renovated so the appliances and furniture were relatively new. A couple of negatives: the wood floors are old and creak a lot, so there are rugs on most of them, and that; the mattress on the bed is a bit like a brick, so I had to get a mattress topper; and the apartment is close to the fire station so you sometimes hear sirens late at night. Some positives: the apartment is very convenient for the Q and 4,5,6 subway lines, which makes getting around Manhattan pretty easy; the apartment is close to Central Park, which makes for a good walk; the sub-lessor was very responsive and worked with me on some maintenance issues to get them resolved quickly. I was in NY for a summer internship, and this was a good short term sublease for that position.
