A nice property at a great price. We didn’t mind the noise from the train. The property is updated and well kept.

Jack, thank you for your feedback! The train is part of the history and charm of our town, and while most guests find it adds to the character of the area, we understand that everyone’s sensitivity to sound or noise in the distance is different. We are glad is was very minimal for you! For added comfort, we provide white noise fans and earplugs for any light sleepers. We’re so glad you enjoyed your stay overall and appreciate you choosing our home!

The home was so quaint and lovely. You could really feel the love of the home in how it was cared for. Knowing this home had been in the family for 4 Generations is amazing! The upgrades to the home make it feel welcoming and comfortable without losing any of the old charm in its layout. Our girls loved the park that is a short drive (with young ones) or an easy walk with older children! The home is also right next to downtown and its shopping area. The host is very responsive and quick with her messages to questions. I Absolutely recommend this house!!

We are Mena natives with family ties to the area that go back 5 generations! We love the area and think you will too! Enjoy the beauty of the Ouachita Mountains and the charm of Mena!

Why they chose this property

This house was my husband‘s great grandfather‘s house and we’ve been able to keep it in our family for 5 generations (our children will be the 5th generation!). It’s approximately 100 years old and is part of the historic district of Mena. We’ve managed to make modern updates while keeping the 100 year old charm.

What makes this property unique

The Corner House in Mena is a cozy, family-owned vacation rental that combines small-town charm with modern comfort. Built in the early 1900s and fully updated, it offers a clean, peaceful space to relax after a day of exploring. Located on a quiet corner just two blocks from historic Janssen Park, you can walk to downtown shops, local dining, and the park’s famous Christmas lights each December. The location also provides easy access to Talimena Scenic Drive, Wolf Pen Gap trails, and Queen Wilhelmina State Park. Inside, you’ll find a bright open layout, comfortable beds, a stocked coffee bar, and fast Wi-Fi. Guests love how spotless and welcoming the home feels. We take pride in the details and aim to make your stay simple, stress-free, and memorable.
