Great place to stay in Eagle Crest Oregon

We had the best stay ever. The home was beautiful, well stocked, comfy beds, clean and just like the add listed. We loved having coffee on the deck and watching the golfers go by. My kids want to go back next summer for a longer stay.

The most thoroughly stocked home we’ve ever stayed in. Great location for visiting sites in Sisters, Redmond and Bend. Quiet neighborhood, great space, comfortable beds. Owner was very informative and quick to respond. Would highly recommend.

Fantastic getaway place

This is a quiet little getaway in the midst of a golf course. The sports facilities are great - you have to remember to book them as they get filled up fast. Bend and Redmond cities are easily accessible from here and they have excellent adventure and dinning options. The chalet was cozy and had ample space for 7 of us.

Wonderful Vacation Getaway!

We had a fun long weekend in Eagle Crest! We had 6 adults and 2 children in our group. This home is clean and bright and perfectly met our needs. There are plenty of towels/bed linens and the kitchen is really well stocked. We had a lovely dinner on the back deck, right on the golf course. We hope to return for another stay!

Well stocked kitchen, spices, etc. loved the deck for outdoor dining, stargazing, reading, watching golfers, and watching a resident prairie dog popping in and out of his hole. Excellent communication with owners. Games for the kids was a big hit. Could have more comfortable living room furniture.

The location was great. I enjoy playing golf. The only complaint I have is the TV plan that was in the house didn't have the golf channel or any of the fox channels that I usually enjoy.

Amazing!

I definitely hesitate on giving away this property with such a great review, but hands down amazing place! The Chalet was perfect in every way, I cannot come up with one suggestion or complaint. It was the cleanest I have every seen and I am very picky. It was very homey and welcoming and worked perfectly for our group of six. It is obvious that the owners want to make your stay memorable, they have many fun suggestions for activities and quick to respond! Thank you so much for sharing your Chalet with us...we will definitely will be back!

Eagle crest wedding.

The chalet was a great place to stay. There were 4 of us staying for a destination wedding at Eagle crest venue. We arrived on Thursday, April 20th, with the temperature in the 40’s. When we arrived at the chalet, the furnace was set at 50-which it took a long time to warm up-which it did after we closed a window that was left open in one of the downstairs, bedroom. A plunger should be available for the downstairs bathroom. All in all the property is very nice, the scenery beautiful, and easy to get to.

We enjoying our stay at The Chalet. Beautifully scenic on the golf course. House was supplied well. Wish it had an umbrella on the back porch table. Could only sit out on the porch early morning and evening when the sun was not beating down. With all the wonderful natural light from the many windows we definitely did not need an alarm to wake up. Wish the house was not so hot when we arrived. Particularly, the upstairs. It took several hours to cool down and was still quite warm when we went to bed. The only other thing was we had a hard time getting ahold of the owners when needed

A pristine, well furnished chalet close to golf

Our stay was fantastic - elegant construction and decor, well stocked kitchen, car charging, luxurious bedding, peaceful neighborhood, and serene area a few miles from downtown Redmond OR. We found the place well appointed and exceptionally clean. Everything works great. The kitchen has every imaginable gadget and appliance and the living room has a large TV with many streaming options. The chalet faces the south -with the high wall to ceiling windows bringing in sunlight throughout the day in the living and dining areas. The deck is well furnished with new patio furniture and we saw deer pass by in the evening. We had a pleasant stay and would highly recommend this place for anyone seeking a tranquil time away from home. We visited Cline falls, Smiths Rock, Sahalie falls and Mt Hoodoo, and also checked out the Painted Hills overlook further east. Great experience!!

Nice place with a few gotcha's

We have stayed at Eagle Crest before in similar layout properties. Overall, this was a nice place, but I had to take off some stars due to a few issues. The positives, walking distance to mini golf/golf, very close to indoor pool, plenty of space for our family of four, very private as it backs out to a further hole on the golf green so not much traffic. As an extra bonus it had an electric vehicle charger, which was great for us. Also, great Wi-Fi which was good for everyone. The property owners also contacted us directly before our stay to provide extra information and recommendations. The not so good. Every morning we were woken up around 6am with what turned out to be a bird/woodpecker hammering on the metal chimney for the fireplace. Turning the fireplace on seemed to scare the bird away but that proved to be a challenge as well, we had to open the glass fireplace door and wiggle a wire. That got it going but at the same time, we had to make sure to turn the fireplace off after the bird left as it would get too hot in the house. The homeowners were also very slow to respond once we were in the place and had questions. This was over spring break and they had told us ahead of time that they would be away on holiday themselves. Lastly, the place was not so clean. Dirty/sticky kitchen floor and food on the dining room chairs, hair in the bathroom sinks, etc. Also most of the deck chairs were falling apart so couldnt sit out there as a family.

Can we stay until Christmas?

This was our first vacation since COVID hit. We've been really careful this whole year and were a bit nervous about taking a trip, but I am so glad we did. The owners are great communicators and go above and beyond to suggest activities that match your family's interests. The chalet is bright, cozy and VERY clean. We made most of our food at the chalet and the kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed. We hiked at Smith Rocks, Crack in the Earth, Painted Hills and other nearby waterfalls and feel like new people after getting away. Our daughter even asked if we could stay until Christmas!

We're an active, fun-loving family that lives in Portland, Oregon. We love traveling and spending time with our family & friends - as much of it outdoors as possible. On a typical week, we mountain bike, paddleboard, ski, hike or can be found camping on a mountain lake or ocean beach. We've traveled extensively around the world, but this area is one of our favorites!

Why they chose this property

We've visited Central Oregon's various resorts (Sunriver, Black Butte Ranch, Brasada Ranch, Eagle Crest, Bend, etc.) for several years and finally decided to buy our own place at our favorite - Eagle Crest. Our kids simply love it, and we've found they have a new appreciation for the outdoors. Their favorite activities include hunting for golf balls (like a year long Easter egg hunt), watching the rabbits and deer just outside the chalet, geocaching, biking, paddle boarding, swimming, skiing, fishing etc. There's something to do here throughout the year. Unlike Sunriver or Black Butte Ranch, Eagle Crest is less crowded and a lot brighter with expansive multi-mountain views. Its also a bit warmer in the winter and rarely has snow on the roads.

What makes this property unique

Unlike townhomes and condos in Eagle Crest, the chalets are detached from each other offering more privacy. Lots of exposed wood throughout provides a relaxing 'mountain cabin’ feel. This particular unit has a uniquely large grassy side yard and back yard, plus a much larger dining room window overlooking an ancient (~400-600 year old) Juniper tree - making it light and bright inside. And it includes the technology we can't live without - WiFi, HDTV, Blu-ray DVD player with Netflix and Pandora, Sonus sound bar, iHome speaker dock for your smart phone, front door with electronic key pad (so you can check-in at any time and don't have to worry about finding keys) etc.
