Why they chose this property
Danehill village is on the edge of the ancient and glorious Ashdown Forest, 6,500 acres of wood and heathland with wonderful walking opportunities and home to Winnie the Pooh! There is so much to do in the area with National Trust properties/gardens such as Sheffield Park and Wakehurst Place, The Bluebell steam Railway, The Bluebell Vineyard, Trading Boundaries concert venue and the most charming and vibrant historical villages and towns to explore. The Sussex Coast and South Downs National Park are within easy reach as is Brighton. Its a great location to get around and go exploring with something to do for all the family!
We are in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and surrounded by nature, wildlife and an unspoilt landscape. We love that there are plentiful walks on public footpaths from The Nest and a highly regarded gastro pub The Coach and Horses just a 3 mins stroll away! What’s not to love 😊
