I love Ammoudara because it’s got everything in one place — a long, golden sandy beach where you can swim, relax, or try water sports, and it’s only a few minutes from Heraklion city. You can spend the day by the sea, then pop into town for museums, shops, and amazing food. In the evenings, the sunsets here are just magic, and there’s always a nice mix of lively spots and quiet corners. Plus, it’s the perfect base if you want to explore more of Crete.

What makes my place so special is the perfect balance between privacy and location. You get your own private pool just 70 meters from the beach, so in a minute you can be swimming in the sea or relaxing by the water at home.
