This property has it all! The styling of the original shot gun homes of Key West restored with a beautiful natural cypress exterior combines with the clean lines of a contemporary home. Each cottage opens to it's own semi-private deck and lounge area with steps into a large kidney shaped pool with waterfall. Inside the comfortable living room there is a spiral staircase to the loft second bedroom with unique glass railing. Large windows in the kitchen bi-fold away to allow serving directly to the pool deck and capture the warm, tropical, Key West breezes. Great 2 connected homes

This was a perfect set up for a medium to large size group with a shared private pool. Everyone was super nice and great, and got back to us with all our questions right away.

Wonderful property in a great location

This property was perfect for our extended family. The pool was critical since the weather was so hot. Everything was clean and well-stocked. The location was also perfect, close to Duval but not too noisy. Would rent again.

This is a very nice property. Close to everything and very relaxing. Highly recommend. Only cons..parking can be difficult, not enough bed linens ( extra blankets, etc)

Two great houses with good location for adults. Houses were well equipped and hospitable.

Great location!!

Everything was fantastic! Small issue with the AC upon arrival which was taken care of within the hour. Only drawback might be the spiral staircases if you have bad knees or something similar.

Great spot in KW

Wonderful property, great for a group. We split both cottages among 6 adults and 2 kids. Stairs were tricky to the lofted bedrooms and pool deck could be slippery. Everything else was fantastic.

Cozy cottages with perfect backyard pool!

We couldn't have asked for a better find in Key West! The cottages were perfect for our family and kid's guests. The pool in the yard is perfect, just right after a day of walking around to all the sites! The location is great, at the quiet end of Duval with two cafes on the corner next door, walking distance to many of the sites and landmarks, and the rest of Duval Street. The cottages were clean and well kept, and the management company is responsive, friendly and helpful. We would 100% rent this place again!

Great location!

Overall we love the place because of the location and the pool. However, check-in was less than ideal as we were never given an access code or contacted to let us know when the house was available meanwhile all our luggage was locked up at the office and they closed. Waited all day then had to call and figure out how and when to get in to the house all while trying to get to a dinner reservation for that evening. Otherwise a great stay.

We are happy to hear you enjoyed the location of our cottages and the pool. The access code we gave you with instructions stated it would not work until 3pm, our check in time. Although you arrived before check in time, and had to wait until 3pm to check in, we tried our best to have the cottages ready early for you. The luggage mix up was unfortunate and we feel it was a miscommunication on both parties, but we did end up going back to the office and delivering it to you in a timely manner. Thank you for staying with us!

Could stand a few additions to the property, but nonetheless, the pool and lovely landscaped back yard is a pleasant view each day. There were some updates since last stay - new table and chairs in the dining area, new flat screen TVs and living room furniture. The noise from the restaurants is a bit annoying some mornings and also the parking stinks, but if you don't have a car, then it's no problem.

Great place!!

This place was amazing!! It was perfect for our party of 8. The location was awesome, close to most things. We rented a golf cart for the week and that was a great purchase. We had most everything we needed. LOVED the pool😍 and backyard. The iguanas roaming were one of the coolest things I’ve ever seen. Key West was absolutely amazing and I will be back. Only few things that I could say is the pool area is VERY SLIPPERY. I didn’t fall, but several in our party did. The stairs are very noisy and narrow but definitely not a reason to not make me stay here again. This place gets 5 stars from me!!

Perfect setup and location for family vacation

The location of the cottages was perfect for a family, close enough to all the fun stuff but far enough from the late night crowds. Somehow it seemed so private but it was right in the middle of it all! The adjoining pool was a terrific setup for our extended family visit. My only two issues were that the metal spiral staircase was a bit loose so if someone comes down in the night, everyone can hear it, and the parking was tough. It would be great to have reserved guest parking in front of the units. Trying to load/unload for a week stay from blocks away is not fun. All that to say, I loved this place and can’t wait to go back!

Close to Everything including Chickens!

Our place was well-furnished for a VRBO vacation home. The house was clean and ready to go when we arrived. We had a minor issue with the WIFI, but it was fixed quickly. Everyone we talked to was extremely kind. A one small change could make it a perfect place to stay., the sheets are harsh feeling. A better quality sheet would be very nice. It is not worth a star just worth a mention.Also note, Key West is filled with chickens, you will see them everyday in front of this house. It make me smile!

Thanksgiving in Key West

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My family rented both sides of Pete's Cottages for a week over Thanksgiving. The cottages were very, very well renovated, very clean, and had lots of character. Everything we needed for a great stay was available to us in the cottage including beach towels, kitchen utensils, supplies, etc. And we especially appreciated the washer and dryer! The property management company was very easy to work with and communicated with us extremely well, too. We only had two issues during our stay. First was a problem with the pool. The pool heater was broken and was not repaired during the week of our stay. Unfortunately, due to some cool nights, this basically rendered the pool unusable. We want to stress, though, that the management company handled the situation well and kept us informed of progress trying to get it repaired. Not much more we could really ask from them. The other issue we had was outside of anyone’s control. Trash pickup. With the restaurants immediately adjacent, almost every morning (sometimes before sunrise), we woke to the sound of breaking glass, dumpsters/bins being emptied, and the sound of big diesel trucks. Nothing can be done about it. These are jobs that need doing, and we certainly understand. However, it completely took the fun out of sleeping in. All in all, it was a great stay. We enjoyed the property immensely, and we certainly used it the way it was intended. Thank you for the lovely property and the very sound service!

We greatly appreciate your comments about the location of Pete's Cottages. Perhaps due to the holiday week it was louder than usual. Pete's Cottages are located on the quieter end of Duval Street, but since it is Duval Street, it still may be too noisy for some. We apologize for the inconvenience of the pool heater not working during your stay. Unfortunately, the pool company had to order a new part and it did not arrive during your stay. Our main priority is to be able to offer a clean, comfortable, well maintained property, and have our guests enjoy their stay with us. Thank you again for your feedback and we hope you will stay with us again.

Great spot off of Duval

These are two great cottages and perfect for two families of four. Property was clean and has probably one of the largest pools on the island. We were there during off season, so not sure what this would be like in the peak season, but we truly enjoyed our stay.
