nice place for last minute trip

The condo had a musty smell and the neighbors smoked alot which made its way into the condo some. There was almost always a waiting line at the bottom of the elevator. We enjoyed our stay, the amenities were nice, great little gift shop with food and beverages. We found that every time we went out to eat, it was 30 minutes towards the west end of PCB. The condo was very close to the state park end of PCB, which has its own charm to it, less crowded.

Nichole, We would like to thank you for the wonderful positive feedback and glad you enjoyed the amenities, gift shop/food and our location. We will certainly check into the musty smell you mentioned and are very sorry that the next door neighbors were inconsiderate with their habit while on balcony. Unfortunately, during peak season and high demand times of the day elevators can become very busy with people coming and going back and forth to the beach. We do hope to see you again in the near future Thank you, Dunes of Panama Management

We loved the condo and resort. Location was great. The only thing we wished the resort had a hot tub.

Roach Infested Dirty Condo

I have voiced my complaints already & have had no returned call or any communication. This was by far the nastiest place my family & I have ever rented. There were curly hairs all over the bathroom, the floors were gross, the carpet was stained, furniture was dated and soiled, roaches crawled all over the kitchen, sheetrock was missing in the family room. I called the management company the night we arrived & they said they would send someone to clean & that never happened! I have requested reimbursement & have heard nothing from anyone. This place should not be rented until it is deep cleaned, updated, and many repairs made. GROSS!!!

The Dunes of Panama did respond to this guest during her stay. The Dunes of Panama did send housekeeping to the unit to review and take care of missed cleaning areas that were mentioned by guest to our front desk after being checked-in for almost 24 hours. When housekeeping went to unit their services were refused. Correspondence was made and guest was issued a full nights rent plus some. We received correspondence from guest after her departure informing us that she had submitted her review on VRBO, also mentioning she wanted more money returned. In that correspondence was the first mention of roaches. A review of unit by management was made to see first hand. The units carpet (light beige) did have a few spill/stains by the sofa/love/coffee table but nothing horrible. The rest of the units carpet had no noticeable spots/stains. The furniture and carpet had both been cleaned before the February winter tenant. The units furniture sofa/love had no noticeable signs of soiled areas or odor. The occasional chair with matching ottoman is a very light beige color and did have some minor spots. The units decorating choices may not be the choice for everyone (blues and beiges with a busy fabric pattern on the sofa and a leather love seat) but the photos online reflect exactly what is in the unit as well as the owners decorating choices. The small 1x1 piece of sheet rock that was missing in the living room by the bottom section of the sliding glass door was a result of mitigation that our insurance company required for all units after Hurricane Michael. We were aware of this and it was on their schedule for completion. All of our units are sprayed by a professional pest control company every month. On the first mention of an issue by the guest in her email after her departure the pest control company was contacted. So far we have not found any evidence of active bugs. Our goal is to satisfy all of our customers but it is unfortunate in this case we were unable to satisfy her. Dunes of Panama Management

Dunes of Panama property very nice. Condo was nice but could use a few things.

This was our first time staying at Dunes of Panama. The grounds were kept very clean and the only time the elevator was any trouble is at check in when everyone is there. Otherwise we didn't have an issue. Pool areas are very nice and the little shop on the property is expensive, but handy. The condo had nice furnishings, but felt a little cramped. Great view! Large master, but bathroom was a little cramped, but it worked fine. Nice big closet. Guest room is also a nice size. Kitchen was very cramped. Needed more space for people to put groceries away, some pot holders and more than one dish towel would have been nice. Also a set of tongs is needed. A guide to the Dunes and maybe some info on where to go eat would be a nice addition. A guest book would be nice for recommendations of things to do etc. Overall it was a great experience. The ocean was absolutely beautiful and the people were all so friendly. Sand dollars just happened to be everywhere! We also were blessed with perfect weather!

Tammy, We thank you for your wonderful review of E405 and of grounds, pools and beach! We are glad you chose to try the Dunes of Panama over all other places on Panama City Beach, FL. We appreciate your suggestions and we will certainly work on the storage areas. We are sorry that our guide to the Dunes and restaurants was not found and we will certainly get another one to the unit along with the kitchen items mentioned. We look forward to hearing from you in the near future. Thank again! Dunes of Panama Vacation Rentals
