Welcome to the Auto Attic at Pecan Grove Estates. This attic oasis is nestled at the rear of the beautifully landscaped grounds of the Main House. Renovated to maintain its rustic and industrial charm, this space overlooks the expansive retro garage contains 1 bedroom, 1 loft bed, 1 bath, living room, dinning area, & kitchen. It is within walking distance to the San Antonio river, historic San Jose Missions, grocery, and pharmacy. This space also has one parking space within the gated grounds.

Less than a 1.5 miles from the historic San Jose Missions, the San Antonio river, Biking/Walking trails as well as the vessel drop in point for kayaking down the river. Less than 5 miles to downtown San Antonio. A short drive to Southtown, the Pearl Brewery, and shopping.

Such a cute quaint place.

The property manager was really sweet to check-in process was really easy. It was a nice place and we really enjoyed it. If we are in town we will love to go back.

Perfect spot for our little getaway

Adorable property and conveniently located near downtown San Antonio. The gate made us feel safe and Al’s attic was so cute and comfortable! Our only complaint would be the noise as there were what sounded like fireworks and drag racing several nights. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would visit again!

We love this place. We have already stayed here 4 times and we will definitely be back. The place is very cute and cozy and the host is super sweet and always willing to give suggestions for places to go.

Perfect for our needs

Very nice little loft convenient to bike trails and golf course. Love the themed atmosphere of the apartment. Owner is on site and very available and helpful. Parking/security is excellent.

Auto Attic

The Auto Attic was exactly the perfect place for our stay in San Antonio. The entire property was beautiful, and well tended. Although some might hesitate based on the neighborhood, once you get inside the gates to the property, you feel safe and like you are in the lap of luxury! Gail, was very welcoming and helpful. We would definitely consider coming back to this property if we ever visit San Antonio again in the future! The Pflugs

Quaint getaway

Al’s Auto Attic was a great place to stay for a short getaway. It was unique and I loved all the little ways they decorated with the theme of the place. The loft is perfect for a child. The master bed was comfortable. We stayed here while we toured San Antonio and loved it. It was a perfect place to sleep while vacationing. The space is small, so if you’ll be spending much time there keep that in mind. The neighborhood was a little sketchy but I felt safe as the rental was gated. The hostess was very sweet and helpful. She gave us great suggestions to visit while we were in town. I would recommend this to couples wanting a quaint little stay in San Antonio!

Gated oasis

While driving through the neighborhood to our stay we questioned the accuracy of the listing. We breathed a sigh of relief as we pulled up to the gorgeous and securely gated destination. It was just as cute as the pictures. I loved all of the extras like lotion, cotton balls and face mask provided in the bathroom; however, the toilet paper on some really cool holders was positioned behind the toilet and was very hard to reach. Also, for anyone wanting total bathroom privacy, be aware that it’s located right by the bed and the door is a sliding barn door type that has significant spaces all around it and does not lock. The heater/ air conditioner above the bed had a rattling noise. The main bed was amazingly comfortable and the sheets were glorious. Our host also gave us an excellent recommendation for dinner.

Place was smaller than expected and the beds were not very comfortable and it was on the 2nd floor so there were stairs we were not prepared for but otherwise it was amazing. We only cared about the stairs because my friend has cancer and they were difficult for her.

The Auto Attic was just what we needed - easy distance to the San Antonio Missions, Downtown, and other destinations. It's tucked in a quiet neighborhood along with other cottages and a main house. It's a peaceful spot with nice grounds.

Cute stay in San Antonio!

Although the neighborhood was not very nice, the Vrbo was tucked away from the road as its own gated collection of houses. The host was very friendly and the property's outdoor space was beautiful. The inside was cozy and quirky and perfect for a vacation with friends. Driving to downtown took 15-20 mins and the traffic wasn't horrible. My only complaint was that there were obvious stains on the bedsheets (they could have been clean, but I had this tiny fear that they weren't!). However, don't let this stop you from booking! Definitely a worthwhile stay!

We were delighted when we pulled into the gated home. Although we came in February, you could definitely see this is a majestic place. Our host did all she could for us, giving suggestions on places to go and even offering to get us there at one point. We enjoyed our stay and would give Al’s attic a five star.

Wonderful rental

We had a wonderful stay! Loved our cabin, parking felt very safe behind security gate on property plus host lives in the front house. We ride e-bikes and were able to drive 1 mile to the first Mission where we could park and access a trail that took us to other beautiful Missions, the Riverwalk and beautiful scenic paved path rides along the river. We loved meeting Gail, the host and won’t hesitate to stay here again when visiting the San Antinio area.
