Grand Pines Motel Rooms

Grand Pines Motel includes ten motel rooms, located on Little Round Lake near Hayward, Wisconsin. These newly-remodeled motel rooms are the perfect lodging for everything from romantic getaways to outdoor escapes. Each of our comfortable, Northwood’s inspired rooms include two queen beds, a flat screen TV, a small refrigerator, microwave, a wet sink, a coffee maker, private deck off back, central air and whirlpool jets in the tub. Amenities

One bath with whirlpool jets, mini refrigerator, coffee maker, cable TV, coffee packs (one regular and one decaf, makes 4-cup pot), coffee filters, creamer, sugar/sweetener, all bed linens, one set of towels per person, sample size bath products, trash bags, hair dryer, iron, ironing board and private deck. We also have charcoal grills and fire pits for the motel guests to utilize. There is a boat launch onsite and we have extra piers should you bring your own boat. We also have pontoon boats available for rent, see information under Rentals.

I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Scenery was nice. The grounds and decking common areas very rundown. Inside lots of dust especially in bathroom and bathroom floor dirty. Also for the price a customer should not have to strip the beds and gather towels . Had 1small shampoo and no soap provided for two people. After we asked for more, it was not until the nite before we left that we got some. Was not very appealing to have to get extra supplies in a wooden box outside when most of it in the box was dirty. We will not be returning and would not recommend.

We had to run the bathroom fan to drown out the noise next to us so we could get some sleep. You could try and separate room better when there isn't any other rooms rented.

Room 42 that we rented was clean,but the back door to the deck would not latch unless it was locked. Also the photos of the back deck are deceiving, they show the lake view, but in reality it's the trees

Nothing grand, but clean and was a place to sleep.Bathroom sink is slow to drain.The 4 small pillows took some getting used to. 2 felt like sacks of flour. There seems to be a tear in the top pf the left window drape. We did enjoy the shower/tub.The virtual experience is somewhat understandable but a little off-putting aloof. No contact with GP staff other than reservations. That felt a little sterile - but I guess that was the point.Years ago, we stayed in your cabins - guess you spoiled us with that.Have a great summer.

However, not sure if it's the pandemic or not but seems to have let basic maintenance slip. Deck and steps are dangerous; nails sticking up, picnic table tips over if not sitting just right, steps are steep and rough construction. Also, chairs by campfire were cracked. In the room, I had to thaw the fridge before using because it was so built up. Back deck room door wouldn't stay closed without being locked. Reservation office personnel is not very friendly. On the surface this place is nice, lake is beautiful and peaceful, but a little disappointed overall.
