The home was very clean, and you could tell they were remodeling it. However, there was a VERY strong smell of marijuana in the downstairs area, and it's clung to our clothes. Though the house has a very modern and well installed security system, the area in which the home is at is Very unsafe, as we heard gunshots less than a block away our first night, and had to call 911. In addition, the AC was out both days, and the property manager I spoke with didn't address it at all, only saying "hmm." It's also worth noting that the couch is badly broken in, and all bedrooms and the one bathroom is upstairs. I think this home wasn't ready for VRBO or other stays, and I will be following up about it.
