What a cute little space! This is a historic home with a ton of character and charm and plenty of room for me, my husband, our two kiddos, and my parents. The beds were comfortable, and the yard is amazing! This is an excellent spot and our family will return there when we need to visit family again!
This is a beautiful historic house with lots of charm. The unit has so much space: all the rooms are very generous, including the bathrooms. Although we are not usually downtown people we enjoyed being able to walk to restaurants (Anna's Greek - highly recommend & Hilligan's - we don't recommend!) and the street noises were not bothersome. The king bed is very comfortable. We only used the kitchen for coffee, bagels, eggs and a frozen pizza and it had everything we needed. Communication with the host was very good. We had one issue due to unusually could temperatures and it was addressed immediately.

The floors are so unlevel and continuing to get worse so it’s causing the new lvp flooring to have big gaps. If you step on a gap it hurts and your toes go in between. There’s mold on the ceiling in the shower or I guess. Missing and peeling paint everywhere the wall is peeling away under a window in the master bedroom. Someone else’s pubic hair in the shower. Long black hair on the floor in the bathroom. A puzzle piece on the floor in the living room. Clearly they don’t vacuum after each guest. Missing batteries in the remote, old cob webs between the windows and storm windows, soft spots on the floor that actively move when you step on them. Broken doors, cob webs in the half bath. There’s just so much damage everywhere! Clearly it’s not being maintained because it has missing paint. They painted the soap holder and bathtub and the paints peeling back off. We couldn’t even shower before leaving because I recused to shower with peeling paint, cracked tiles and strangers pubic hair! Will NEVER stay again. If my reservation was for more than 1 night I would Have canceled and left. I have pictures to back up everything. The black mold spots popping through the paint in the bathroom is extremely alarming. Many people are allergies and or sensitive to mold. That’s so dangerous.
