This worked out well for our group, and we would stay there again. It is not the fanciest of places, feeling just a little bit run down (outdoor chairs were shaky, e.g.), but overall very pretty, We enjoyed playing pool and exploring the wide selection of games. Two of us braved the pool (which was quite chilly in December) and thought it was really nice. We didn't mind that the ice-maker was broken in the fridge but would have appreciated having ice trays available - but we bought ice on our second day and that was okay. One thing that was troublesome was the parking situation, We were not told until the day before that only two cars could be parked there and that street parking on weekdays was not allowed. We had 4 cars from people who had traveled from across the state and North Carolina and that was a pain, Overall, though, worth the price and well-situated in town.
