Beautiful house. The picture do not compare to being in it. It was a cozy warm home designed to have good family time. Check in and communication was smooth with the host even with my many requests, she was patient and I really appreciate it as my group came for a delicate event.

Yes, there are several shopping centers, a Target and you are very close to Roosevelt Field which is a giant mall. There are also several small stores for little things like milk or shampoo. Was a great location!

This is the BEST rental I've done on any site. The host and her family are absolutely wonderful. I think she really undersells the features of this house. It is local to a lot-- Everything within walking distance. Right off the LIE and easy to find, but a quiet neighborhood (except for the fire department across the street). The backyard is so inviting-- We ate outside every day. It's a fantastic location. I wish I could purchase it. HIGHLY recommend!!!

The house was the perfect size for our large family. The kitchen could use a few more utensils(can opener, colander) but we made do. Plenty of room. Host was very prompt answering questions & a pleasure to deal with. Thanks again for sharing your home with us.

Most things were fine. I do not believe it was "cleaned" the day that we arrived but it was not dirty. The reason I kinda guessed that is when we arrived the interior temperature was 90 degrees. Not the owners fault that a heat wave was happening in NYC AREA. But if there had been someone in there. The temperature would not have beenIt took a good day..mostly over night .. for the temperature to become bearable. Other then that experience was good. Thanks.

The host was awesome and very communicative. However, property is not modern at all. Some of the rooms were very run down and the furniture was old. There were not enough blankets or linens, and most of the beds were not very comfortable. The kitchen can use some more supplies and can use a good cleaning. With all that our group still had a good time and if it was fixed up a bit it could be the perfect place in a wonderful location.

We consistently receive positive reviews regarding the cleanliness and condition of the home, and concerns about the furniture or cleanliness have not been raised by previous guests. We work hard to provide a home that offers excellent value for the price, especially considering its size, location, and amenities. We also noticed that the reservation was made for 2 guests, while your group ultimately consisted of 11 people. This made it difficult for us to anticipate the amount of bedding and supplies that would be needed. We keep additional comforters and linens stored in the basement for guests to use if needed. Regarding the kitchen, it is equipped with everything disclosed in our listing. We strive to accurately represent the amenities we provide, and anything beyond those listed items is not included as part of the rental. At both check-in and during your stay, I sent messages asking if there was anything you needed or if I could help in any way. Had any of these concerns been brought to my attention at the time, I would have done my best to address them immediately and make your stay as comfortable as possible. Thank you again for your feedback. We're pleased that despite your concerns, your group still had a good time and enjoyed our wonderful location.
