The property was amazing! It was a great house in a great location. We loved how convenient everything was and how responsive our Host was! Will most definitely be back!It was more than accommodating for our large family. Every room was literally HUGE! So spacious and I loved staying in a historical home.I highly recommend this house!

Disliked: Cleanliness, location, listing accuracy
host interaction immediate. Home description needed more details, locaton near a very active all day train passing.
Didn't have any contact with host. Amenities were so so. Nowhere to put the trash. The upstairs bathroom doesn't close nor lock. The neighbors were very rude and nasty at the salon. The refrigerator had a really bad leak. There was a mouse. 3/10

Hillary,
I am very sorry your stay was not perfect!
Really wish you would have told us about any issues during your stay & we could have fixed them asap with our property manager living only a block away.
We're replacing the fridge and have added a lock to the bathroom - please remember these were brand new bathrooms; you were the first guest to enjoy them, which we had hoped would be a welcome surprise to your group.
Again, sorry if not everything was perfect - in the future please let your hosts know immediately if there are issues during your stay
The upstairs bathroom did not shut all of the way, as the handle stopped working. The upstairs sink was slow to drain. The microwave did not work. This property is too close to the train that when it went past (multiple times a day) it was loud and we felt it in the house. Plus side was that this house was a short walk to multiple restaurants, coffee shops, and casinos. The property manager was slow to respond to our concerns. Overall the majority of our party was happy with these accommodations, but not everyone was satisfied with having a bathroom that didn’t shut and a microwave that didn’t work.

The property is older construction, and that condition is evident throughout. The furniture is dated and shows significant wear. Water pressure in the kitchen was noticeably low—filling a coffee pot took longer than it should. There were also visible signs of deferred maintenance across the property. The exterior was not well maintained. The lawn consisted mostly of weeds and gravel rather than grass. In addition, the back steps on the deck appeared to be in need of repair, and the weather stripping on the back door was coming loose.Inside, there were functional issues as well. The television in the front room did not have a usable remote, making it difficult to operate.More concerning, there were pest issues during the stay. We encountered roaches in both the kitchen and an upstairs bedroom, which significantly impacted comfort and raised concerns about cleanliness and upkeep.Communication and coordination were also lacking. Check-out instructions were not provided until the day before departure, despite being expected earlier, which made it difficult to plan accordingly. There were a few positives. The washer and dryer appeared to be newer and worked well. The stove was also a modern design and performed as expected. The bathrooms had been updated, and the showers were a pleasant feature. However, the refrigerator did not include an ice maker, which was an unexpected omission.
