This home exceeded my expectations. The view is stunning, very modern with high quality appliances. It’s close enough to everything in town but you still get a sense of quiet privacy. The hosts are very responsive and you can tell they really love this home. I’ll definitely return in the future.

The view is amazing, felt very private and cozy but still close enough to Port Dover and with a vineyard right down the road. Such a beautiful open space with the kitchen, dining and living room that open up to the patio. Great communication with the host!

The house was lovely inside and very comfortable! And the view of Lake Erie was spectacular. Every day we were treated to ‘fly overs’ by bald eagles and turkey vultures. We could watch them for hours! The proximity to town and every other little town was an added bonus! Great location!We were disappointed there was no fire pit anymore, as the evenings were a bit chilly and we were looking forward to sitting out and star gazing, maybe next time! Thank you Marnie for your hospitality! You have a true gem in this house!

Wonderful Canadian Retreat on the Lake

We loved our stay here. The neighborhood was quiet, the lake was beautiful and the pictures don’t do the view justice! The nearby town was so charming we were there in the off-season and still loved it. We will be coming back again soon!

This was one of our favourite vacation rentals. The place was very clean and had everything we could need for a week away from home. The bed was very comfortable as was all the furniture. The hosts were quick to respond to any questions. This location is beautiful with the fire pit and lake views. If you are looking for a lake rental this is the one.

Perfectly relaxing

The property was exactly as advertised! The house was stylish and accommodating. The view from inside and on the deck were next level. We enjoyed swimming in the clear, sandy bottom water right from the stairs. Not to far to travel to Niagara Falls or Toronto. The town of Port Dover has just the right amount of restaurants and shopping without too much of the touristy feel.

The Perfect Vantage Point

This was our second visit to the property and we will be back. The cottage delivered everything that was promised and more. The owners are certainly the most responsive of all the VRBO places we’ve stayed. Nice neighbours as well.
