Great family vacation! Beautiful views from all the windows. The kids loved the loft beds. All cookware we needed for cooking meals was there. Short walk to grocery store, coffee shop and stores. Host was very kind and quick to answer questions. Only downside was issues with water heater not working for 2 days. Bring your quarters for the washer/dryer!

Host was attentive but we experienced several inconvenient situations. The firewood was locked so we couldn’t just light a fire when needed. The hot water wasn’t working after a day of skiing so we had to go shower in another room outside across the building. The thermostats took a while to heat up the rooms. The sinks and toilets were not built for tall people. The beds were rock hard. Location was nice. The manager was very nice though and responsive.

Very clean, great location, host was very nice and quick to respond. Beds were very firm. If you like a hard bed, this is for you but I didn’t get much sleep. It felt like sleeping on the floor. The water heater is the #1 reason I put anything but 5 stars. I read a previous review of someone else complaining about it but out of the other reviews, one wouldn’t affect us, but first evening the water was freezing, thought it was a fluke. Next morning, still freezing, contacted the host, very quick to respond about a reset method. Worked once, one kid could shower for maybe 5 minutes and water was cold. Reset again, wait an hour for it to fill, same thing on repeat Wednesday& Thursday. Finally Thursday night it was determined needed a new water heater. After it was replaced on Friday, we were told to wait an hour, for good measure we waited 1.5. Freezing. Did the reset, it worked after the hour wait and it seemed to stay hot from then on, but from a check in on Tuesday and having to deal with the issue over and over and not getting a resolve until Friday afternoon. Super frustrating! The longest I shower I took the whole time was maybe 5 minutes for fear the water would get cold. After riding trails and getting dirty every day, you have to shower and this situation was very frustrating and inconvenient especially with small children.
