I enjoyed calmly sitting on the quay right in front of the lake. There was a lot of space in the house on 2 floors . From one of the bedroom there is a nice view of the lake.
We had a very peaceful and relaxing week. The waterfront was wonderful. The cottage was well-equipped - great kitchen space. The beds were very comfortable and and the bedrooms were spacious. Lots of outdoor sitting area space to enjoy.

It was a plaesure to meet Zdenka.
She and her gang were great guests and I would certainly welcome them back anytime!
Very comfortable cottage on beautiful Lac Brôme. Kitchen was well-equipped and there was lots of room for our big family. Water equipment is overdue for replacement so we were glad we had brought our own lifejackets. Kayaks are child-sized which was disappointing. Parking a large SUV was as the roads are very narrow. very challenging.
For the most part it is was great. The only draw back was noise and inconvenience with the construction across the street. The access to the property was difficult. By the end of the week they had fixed the road and it was easier but the noise remained.
The lake, the access to the lake and the house was great.
Welcoming host, well equipped house, nice view.
A bit noisy, good view. Poor interior lighting in common areas, poor bedside/couch lighting, dangerous unmarked, 1/2 step on second floor.
Need for towel racks/hooks in each room.
Great location, large space with lots of indoor and outdoor seating, functional kitchen space (bring ground coffee, not K-cups), three bedrooms upstairs with a half bath (no shower upstairs), and one bedroom downstairs with a full bathroom. Well stocked towels and sheets. Kayaks, canoe, the lake - awesome! Five minute drive to delightful walking trails, restaurants, book store.
Drawbacks to the property included only one shower (was originally listed as two, but the owner corrected baths to 1.5). There were some issues with the toilet, but the owner responded right away by having the septic pumped. The long narrow driveway from the street is shared with two other homes, so with three vehicles for our group, there was some car jockeying, which was made difficult by large rocks that mark the edge of some of the properties. The houses are close together, so there is noise. In particular, the next door neighbor had some landscaping and wall work being done with an excavator while we were there, and there is a house under construction at the beginning of the shared driveway. These things were out of the owner's control; when I asked, she did explain that the excavating work had been delayed from the spring. House construction is ongoing. Although we were pretty busy during the day, noise was constant when near the house.
We were attracted to the lake location and space for three couples, so we were satisfied with the location and space.

Great location. Great Acces to the Lake. Lots of activities nearby.

Unfortunately past guests put dishes in the cupboard without washing them properly.
It’s very unfortunate that we didn’t catch the dirty dish in the cupboard on our end. Now we check all the dishes in the cupboard to see that the last washer did a good job.
The lighter has been replaced
We were there for the March break and it was nice and cosy. Great location to enjoy outdoor sports on the lake (skating, cross country sking or just a long walk). The fire place is amazing.
We loved our stay here. Because of cover 19 it was cut short, but the house was very nicely decorated, the beds were small but comfy and the kitchen had everything. A gaming system for the kids would have been good for them, but I didn't mind. The only thing I didn't like was the large rock on the corner of the driveway to protect the lawn. It's a tight turn and very hard to negotiate with anything but a compact car. All in all a nice stay. I'd love to see it in the summer.
We enjoyed our stay in this quiet area which is nearby several ski resorts (Sutton, Bromont). The cottage offers pleasant common spaces, 4 bedrooms with small but comfortable beds and a well equipped kitchen. We spent a great time.
This host returned only 1/2 of my very expensive security deposit because a ziplock bag melted on the stove door by mistake.
We simply forgot to clean it off, but it was clearly an easy fix. She told me she would call a repairman and has since stopped responding to my messages.
Gail and her guests were great and left the cottage in tip top shape! Gail would be welcomed back anytime!

Retreat at Lac Brome
We had a wonderful week of swimming and kayaking at the cottage. It was a comfortable and cozy place both indoors and outdoors. Beautiful views and sunsets while kayaking out on the lake. We enjoyed it very much, thank you.

Great guests! House was left clean and in good order!
Although we didn’t get a chance to meet face to face, My neighbor made a point of calling me over to tell me how extremely nice they were,
Arthur and his guests would be welcomed back anytime!
