This traditional French cottage features an open plan living area with kitchen/diner, a first floor bedroom with king size bed and a single day bed (converts to a double bed) and a shower room. A countryside retreat where guests can relax and unwind or enjoy the great outdoors with walking routes from the doorstep. Property features electric heating, a hair dryer, iron and ironing board, free wifi, free private parking and shared seasonal swimming pool. Your home from home while exploring the beautiful Vienne countryside. Ideally located with convenient access to the RN10 for travelling between cities, house hunting or visiting the local area. Our fully stocked village shop is just 3 minutes by car. Local towns with larger supermarkets, restaurants, bars, cafes, pharmacies etc just 7 minutes and 15 minutes by car. Outdoor activities include walking and cycling from the doorstep. La Vallée Des Singes animal park and pony trekking 12 minutes away. Various Swimming lakes 15 - 30 minutes, kayaking 18 minutes away. Petit Cities of Character 20 - 30 minutes away. Numerous Golf courses between 24 minutes - 1hour away. Regional airports Poitiers Biard 43km and Limoges Bellegarde 103km away. Our gite is located at the edge of a peaceful hamlet, just 2.8km from the village where you will find a very well stocked village shop/tabac, the village library and a small museum. The river Bouleure meanders through the Bonvent Valley not far from the property with the signposted walking route, Bonvent en Bouleure passing by the property, which takes you on a tour of the local area through little hamlets, fields and woodland. A great place to see the local wildlife, deer, foxes, boar and many types of birds and birds of prey. On a clear night you can marvel at the night sky and the milky way. The local towns for shopping, restaurants, bars and amenities are just 7 & 15km. Local activities include pony trekking, Monkey Valley, kayaking, fishing, cycling, golf and swimming. Enjoy visiting the local markets, brocantes, arts/craft workshops, animal parks, cinema and historical buildings.
