Watamu Beach Cottages right on the best beach in East Africa

Come and stay in a cottage on a beautiful beach front property. We have a few cottages around a lovely salt water pool. Our staff will ensure your stay is fabulous. We can arrange a cook. A daily cleaning service is provided. There is so much to do in this area, snorkeling, diving, fishing, kitesurfing, walking, good restaurants, and much more. We have good security and are not far from Malindi Airport (30 minute drive).

The cottages are fully equipped for self-catering or we can arrange breakfast and other meals by arrangement.

Beautiful location updates are needed

The location is beautiful and private and the staff is very nice. During the start of the our stay we were put in the GEM. DO NOT LET THEM PUT YOU IN THE GEM. It is dingy. The toilets would not flush so feces will smell up the apartment. The water was not hot, they had a wood burning water heater but onlt out wood on it twice a day for all of the cottages. The stove was not working. Also the fridge is the size of a dorm fridge. The lamshades were nasty and filled with stains and the misquote nets had band aids on them. There is no screens on the doors so cats. monkeys and chichkens will come into your house. This isn't so bad but screen doord need to be put on. Also the back door didn't lock. After this was brought to VRBOs attention they worked with the owner and he agreed to move us to a different cottage. This one was nicer and cleaner, however hot water was still an issue. I do appreciate his appropriate response to our concerns and his willingness to move us so we didn't have to seek other accommodations.

Our property is quiet and peaceful and away from busy parts of the beach.

We have an incredible sand bank that makes for great kitesurfing the whole day.
