This was a fantastic, comfortable, and clean place to stay. The full kitchen and in-unit washer/dryer made the place feel like a home away from home. Being able to park right in front of the unit was very convenient. Checkin was seamless and the service was excellent. Even though we didn't have time to use most of the amenities (playground, pool, mini golf, etc), as parents with a young kid, we liked having them as an option in case we had some down time. We would absolutely stay here again!

Overall, we had a good stay, but there were a few disappointments. The biggest was that the unit we received did not match the photos in the listing. I understand units can vary, but ours looked quite different. I also wish guests could see which unit they’re booking or at least its location, as we would have preferred to be closer to the pool.The amenities were also a little misleading. The listing shows large waterslides, but it doesn’t clearly state that those slides are at Water Country USA, not at the resort. We assumed they were part of the property.We also had issues with the toilet. It clogged on our first night around 11 p.m., and we had to plunge it ourselves. Thankfully there was a plunger available, but the next day the handle didn’t work properly either. We eventually figured out how to make it flush.Lastly, the “private balcony” wasn’t private at all. The listing showed a balcony with an open view, but ours looked directly at the neighboring unit, so there was very little privacy.We still enjoyed our stay overall, but I think the listing should use more accurate photos, better identify off-site amenities, and set more realistic expectations for the accommodations guests will receive.

When we arrived, we checked in and our room was not clean, though it had been released for check in. The front desk staff was unhelpful, did not have any sense of urgency or empathy for the situation. We learned it was a much larger issue that just our unit, with more than 20 units that needed cleaned, and several families waiting in the lobby for access to their rooms. After over an hour waiting for housekeeping, or even a timeline for remedy, we opted to find lodging elsewhere. I did receive a refund for the stay, and the host was fine, but I would not recommend this property.
