Enjoyable 1-bedroom “Mallard” Log Cabin in Ririe
A real log cabin with two queen log beds, 3/4 shower bath, and mini kitchenette with Keurig hot drink maker, a toaster oven, a microwave and small fridge. K cups, including coffees, hot chocolate and apple cider. TV with ports. All bed and bath linens are included. We are located in the beautiful Heise Hills canyon area, with the mighty Snake River corridor across the road. Wildlife sightings, abundant outdoor recreation for every season, and local flair are staples here. Our motto is: "Stories Worth Sharing Rarely Begin With, "So We Decided To Stay In.' " Unique stays that are very comfortable are our focus.
Heise Hot Springs and amazing hiking and zip line right up the road! Spacious real log cabins in a peaceful, beautiful Idaho canyon with tons of on-site and nearby year-round recreation opportunities including hot springs, world class fishing, summer water slide and pools, par 3 golf course, zip lines, western dinner shows, winter tubing, and hundreds of ATV trails.
Beautiful sunsets, scenery and wildlife abound.
If you are bringing a dog, you must note this in your registration, and a $40 per pet per stay will be requested. If a dog or dogs are brought into your room without prior payment the pet fee then increases to $60 per pet per stay. No more than 2 dogs; no cats allowed. Please note: please pick up after immediately, always on a leash when outside, never left in a room alone for even a second without being put in a kennel you provide, and no sleeping on beds at all. Guests must fold and set aside all flannel and wool blankets in the tent BEFORE the dog enters. Thank you.
Monthly stays are sometimes available October through April.

About the host
Hosted by Sharon Parry

Love being a host! We meet some of the nicest people from all over the world. Another reason we love owning a property such as this is the ability to make a place and build spaces so that people not only feel comfortable here but they also love recreating and relaxing on the property. That makes us feel good to be part of this special lodging place.
Living in Idaho “The Whitewater State,” we experience as many rivers as possible. Whitewater rafting is what Steve and Sharon love most as our big hobby.
We are parents to three grown kids and their three wonderful spouses, plus ask us about our really cute and smart eight grandchildren. Steve is practicing law (as Sharon says, practicing until he gets it right 😉), and Sharon is a reformed politician.

Why they chose this property
The Inn’s scene is definitely Idaho countryside. There’s the big Snake River with its braided channels and varying seasonal water heights across the road, plus the Snake with its huge Cottonwood stands has all kinds of animal life— fish, beavers, river otters, owls, ospreys and eagles, moose, mule deer, and whitetail deer.
Farms and ranches are our neighbors.
