Despite having a confirmed reservation, when we arrived we were told that there was no reservation, that they had only received an inquiry from us. This was despite the fact that I have exchanged messages with the property about the room and check in process. And then she said that she couldn’t even give us a refund. So now I have to deal with VRBO to get my money back. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE AND TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE.
Staff was great, I was put into a room that was not renovated like in pics, I stayed in it a few days but got annoyed with their text messaging offering referral rewards. So, I was complaining that how is someone to refer when photos don't match experience. The lady told me I was put in wrong room and moved me. She was super nice and apologize a lot. New room was great, but you can't over look the rest. Nosey guest who live there. Two times coming back cops out front, lots of weird activity happen outside at night. If you don't mind that then cool, but doesn't feel safe not knowing area. I think coming in it's very shocking from ad and photos. Says Neat and clean but most of property is very old, ran down. The renovated rooms are nice but to get to those u have to endure the old and mess. You have to deal with screaming kids and unsafe areas. Signs on stairways saying after 10p no one in stairways, or get kicked out. Tells issues have arised in past. For price and if can overlook then stay here. But be warned, I booked before I fell into deep dive of bad reviews. But I will say the staff tried to fix it but place is old, not renovated enough and the guest who live there set the vibe.
