A month long experience in Escazú, Costa Rica

The property is in a good location, with Escazú Avenue, and lots of restaurants nearby. However, the apartment is in dire need of TLC. I am certain that, had Vrbo made it a requirement, it would not have passed a Health Inspection. The furniture is old, and the bed smells bad. The utility sink leaks, and the bucket placed underneath to collect theto empty a bucket I ended up spending a couple of nights in another apartment, so I could bring back to Florida something positive about my month long experience in Escazú.

Unfortunately, hosting this guest was a difficult and stressful experience. His demands, expectations, and ideas were beyond what we could reasonably accommodate, and we had to go above and beyond to try to meet his needs. Despite visiting the place months before and requesting a new couch, new bedding, and a bunch of other things, he was still very difficult to satisfy. His awkward behavior caused a significant amount of anxiety for us, and we will not host him again. We cannot recommend him to other hosts. Additionally, regarding the comment about renting another apartment, the guest forgot to mention that he left for Florida with another “ POSITIVE” thing for him off course. He check out without taking responsibility for the crystal bathroom door that was broke in that other apartment. While this may have been positive for him, it was very bad for the property owners who need to go back and pay for repairs.

Es la primera vez que utilizo este tipo de estancia y debo decir que he tenido la suerte de encontrar a una pareja encantadora, una propiedad a la altura de mis expectativas, ubicada en una de las zonas residenciales más exclusivas de San José. En mi caso , fue el lugar perfecto para movilizarme y realizar las actividades, visitas, reuniones, reencuentros con amigos y familiares. Gracias Clifford por su atención y por hacernos sentir como en casa. Seguro que regresaré . Un fuerte abrazo a ud y a su esposa.
