Are you looking for a wonderful Montana experience? The Majestic Beartooth Mountains?

A fisherman's dream on the East Rosebud River? Skiing Red Lodge Mountain, Hike and Snow Shoe the Beartooth Mountains?

A large, luxurious property to spread out?

Our property has it all!

The property sits on five (5) wooded acres on 450 feet of frontage on the East Rosebud River.

It offers beautiful views of the Beartooth Mountains from three (3) separate decks/patios. The lodge has three floors, offering five bedrooms, three baths, a large sleeping loft, a two story Great Room, and a theater / game room.

It is decorated with custom rustic furnishings, and is fully equipped for all modern needs, including flat screen TVs and wi-fi. Something for everyone.

The property also has a firepit for campfires and smores! We recently added a riverfront deck this summer so our guests can relax and enjoy the river up close!

The house is sprawling and can accommodate 11, but is designed so it can also be cozy and comfortable for a family of 4 (four).

Perfect Vacation Home

This was a lovely home in such a beautiful setting. We were there for a family wedding and had relatives staying all over the Red Lodge area. Our home was hands-down the most beautiful one. Tammy went above and beyond, offering pick up groceries and stock the home so it was ready when we got there. She was attentive and ready to answer questions, but not overbearing. Then she mailed us some stuff we left behind. A wonderful host, a beautiful place, a perfect setting. What more can you ask of a vacation setting? It was great.

Home away from Home

I can't say enough good things about this beautiful slice of Heaven. We fell IN LOVE with the creek in the backyard immediately, with our kiddos catching frogs daily and us watching from one of the many benches placed along the river, or from the IDEAL riverside deck. The property is gorgeous with deer greeting us in the morning, or the adorable horse neighbors who we loved to pet and talk to through the day. The walking path that encircles the home was part of our daily walking or biking regimen and one that always elicited many smiles. Tammy's home was exactly that.. our HOME for a whole month and it fit us so beautifully. Our kiddos had a hard time choosing between the "rock climbing room" and the triple bed filled loft, so they just split their time between both. The kitchen has the most idyllic view right from the window over the sink making doing the dishes a joy rather than a chore. We loved the sunshine that streamed in the main window of the family room and took many a cat nap on the comfy couches midday. Additionally, Tammy (owner), was a true gift in her help with recommendations for prized spots to visit. The town of Alpine, Woodbine Falls, Red Lodge (to name a few) were all close by and truly magical to visit. I can't say for sure that we would have stumbled upon them without Tammy's suggestion.. we're so thankful for her. Overall, this home was exactly what we needed to get away from it all and experience the open air, large space and huge Montana sky. I cant recommend it enough!! Thanks for a perfect stay!!

Tammy was great! Very communicative and on top of it. Lightnight struck the power line and fried the router and she took care of it asap. Very spacious and plenty of beds! Beautiful views, we love cold plunging in the river in the morning then relaxing in it in the afternoon when it was 100 degrees. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone!

Work Trip

Beautiful property... This was a work-related trip which lasted 6 weeks. The host was extremely attentive throughout our stay and worked with me on extending our stay on a couple different occasions. The House was very comfortable and easily accommodated 6 grown men comfortably. We cooked nearly every night and the kitchen was more than adequate for a former chef. The surrounding property was beautiful. Unfortunately, we were there during some rather heavy snowfalls and were not able to explore as much as some of us would have liked. The host was very prompt in assuring that the drive was cleared of snow and safe for travel. If work brings my team and I out this way again I will certainly be checking availablity of this beautiful property again.

Vacation

We loved the property and the river running behind the house. My grandsons spent many hours fishing the river and exploring all it had to offer. Thank goodness the house was air conditioned as the temperature never went below 90 degrees except at night, but you couldn’t enjoy the outdoors because of the mosquitoes. Too bad because the deck is lovely and I wish we could have enjoyed it. Also there were a lot of moths but we were told it was a result of the recent flooding. On the downside the grill had not been cleaned and the kitchen wasn’t as well stocked as advertised. Had to buy toilet paper, basic spices(salt&pepper) and don’t count on the grocery store for fresh produce. Also bring soft soled slippers because you cannot wear shoes in the house because of the floors. There was a lot a beautiful items in the house (almost too many) might be a bit of a challenge with little kids. All in all we had a great time. We have been to Montana many times and and found it to be a new and different experience every time. Love, love Montana.

Fun family get a way

We had a great stay! House had everything we could need due our stay. Outside deck and seating by the creek was wonderful. Extremely clean and Tammy was awesome to work with. Always a very quick response to any question we had.

Family Gathering

We stayed at this property for a family gathering. It is beautiful for a group of people. The grounds are especially nice because they have a big fire pit and a deck right next to the creek. The house is very spacious and allows for room for people to have separate quarters but come together for meals and activities. I would stay here again and recommend it.

60th Birthday Celebration

It was a beautiful area to enjoy family time and celebrate my husbands birthday. The house was very clean and had all the amenities we needed. The large fire pit and patio at the river were most enjoyable. We had one small issue and the property manager got it taken care of immediately! We would rent here again.

last minute spring break

no complaints. we booked very last minute and they made it work. we don't travel with others but you could have many families stay here and it would be great. kids loved it. i loved the river. very relaxing. only thing to know (this was my fault, not the owners), we were here during march madness and because they have a dish, we coujldn't watch cbs. we figured it out and watched it on the phone. will likely be back if we come back to red lodge. great place

Great Christmas memories made

We loved our stay. The house is decorated so nice, and Tammy had a real live Christmas tree all decorated for us. We had so much room, the house was perfect for us, our 3 children and their families. We did not need for anything, the house is stocked with everything you could possibly need. The outside area had a stream running behind the house and several areas with chairs and benches to enjoy the outdoors. We would stay here again. Thank you Tammy for sharing your lodge with us. We have wonderful memories there.

Overpriced

Lead us to believe she supervised the cleaning of the house, when she actually just cleaned it herself and not very well. The mosquitoes made the outdoor space practically unusable, even with deet. But mainly it was just overpriced for what it was. Our family takes a annual vacation so we've done this quite a few times and this home is approximately double it's true value.

Beautiful house in a beautiful setting

This house was beautifully situated on the East Rosebud Creek and was just perfect for our extended stay in Red Lodge, MT while on an out West adventure. Tammy was so helpful leading up to and throughout our stay. The house was very comfortable. We enjoyed the firepit each night. And the drive to and from Red Lodge was very easy.

Gorgeous home with all amenities

Many thanks to Tammy and gang for a lovely stay! We had a large group in for a wedding - mixed ages, multiple families - and the home accommodated us all gracefully. So much room and so unbelievably beautifully decorated. The kids loved the game room and access to the riverfront. Grownups loved the spacious rooms and the deck by the river. This part of Montana has so much to offer - I recommend it to anyone. And this home is perfectly situated to enjoy it all.

Had a wonderful time. Great location. Stream near by that is so beautiful. The owners thought of everything. Games in the house. They even had a tree for us. It was a great Christmas and we hope to continue on with this tradition. I would highly recommend this lodge to anyone. Can not say enough good about it. Would not recommend a romantic get away because there are way more bedrooms then you would need:)

Montana trip

We were a large group of all different ages - grandparents, sons and daughters and grandkids. The house was perfect for a group like ours - spacious and well laid out. We did a good bit of hiking in the nearby wilderness areas. It was good to be not too far from Red Lodge which provided a good variety of diversions. The Grizzly bar in nearby Roscoe was a fun place to have dinner.

Hunting Season: The perfect base camp

We had the privilege of staying at River's Edge Lodge this past hunting season and we couldn't have asked for a better place. From the moment you pull up to the property you know you are in some place special. The scenery is incredible with an amazing view of the Beartooth Mountains and the acres of trees surrounding the property add to the seclusion. The constant sounds of the river make sitting outside on the large deck even more relaxing. We had a smaller group, but the house could easily accommodate 2 - 3 families. Everyone in our group had their own room with plenty of space to spread out. The rooms were very clean upon arrival and the provided for an amazing sleep. The kitchen is very modern and has all the amenities one needs to make breakfast, lunch and dinner. Their was plenty of cold and dry storage for all of the food we brought. We were a short drive from where we were hunting so it made the location even more ideal. We highly recommend the River's Edge for your next Fishing, Hunting or Skiing trip. Best,

Memorable Family Gathering

We stayed at the River's Edge for three days prior to my son's wedding so we could get to know his fiancé's family. It is a beautiful house with lot's of room. The bedrooms are all fairly separate so each guest has their privacy. The West Rosebud river is close and we spent every night sitting around the large fire pit. The location allows minimal driving to many hikes. Great restaurants are also within a one-half hour drive. Montana Jack's in Dean was our favorite! We would definitely recommend the River's Edge. Our guests returned to California feeling like they had experienced Montana!
