Dear Traveler,

Look no further. This quiet, private and very romantic chalet exudes character, luxury and charm.

Peaceful, cozy and secluded at the end of a quiet, wooded cul-de-sac, the Chalet is the perfect getaway for a much-needed private weekend for two. Yet you're only 7 minutes driving time to the Village Green in the middle of town.

This rustic, warmly appointed, 625 square foot second story chalet features 18’ cathedral ceilings, a magnificent stone fireplace with realistic electric element, wide plank floors, a private balcony overlooking the private pool... and a super comfy four-poster queen size bed to ensure your restful weekend in the country. Also included are high speed Internet, 200-channel satellite TV and a robust iPhone-compatible Bose stereo system.

The Chalet has its own private driveway and entrance. A 40' foot breezeway separates the second story Chalet from the main house, ensuring privacy and quietude.

We're only 3 minutes to the acclaimed Red Onion restaurant, just 5 minutes from Woodstock's popular Cucina ristorante, and 6 min to the elegant Silvia restaurant . Another 60 seconds and you're at the Village Green, where you can enjoy many other dining and entertainment venues. Just up Rock City from the Green is Woodstock's swanky Good Night restaurant. And, of course, shopping! ; )

For you music fans, we're "right around the corner" from the legendary Levon Helm's Barn, home of the Midnight Ramble and some of the best music in the area. And just several minutes from Colony, a former 1920s hotel and current bar, restaurant and music venue. Check their websites for available performances.

Well-behaved pets less than 50 # are welcome (subject to approval) with $25 fee (per pet/night) and nominal $59 VRBO damage insurance contracted directly with VRBO). PLEASE NOTE: PETS ARE NOT ALLOWED IN THE POOL. SORRY, NO EXCEPTIONS.

Kindly note the 2-night minimum. Weekend-only stays from Memorial Day to Labor Day must include both Saturday and Sunday night. Check-in is 3 pm, check-out is 11 am.

FOR SUMMER RENTERS
The 18'x36' heated saline pool features deliciously soft water and is guaranteed to be open from Memorial Day to Labor Day, with September access subject to weather conditions (please note). There's also a poolside Mediterranean-style pergola with a gas grill, refrigerator and bluestone bar so you can enjoy a casually shaded mid-day lunch or dine in rustic luxury under the stars.

Please note: The owner requests 10 minutes each morning for a brief swim, but guests are free to decline. : )

This is a private, quiet chalet, with a nice pool area. It is on a cul de sac. It is only a few minutes from Woodstock and hiking areas, near Overlook Mountain. The interior is warmer, nicely decorated, and cozy. It is a perfect location for a weekend getaway or a longer-term stay.

We had a wonderful stay at the Chalet! Place has straight out of Yellowstone vibe, rustic but charming. Very close to town. Richard was very attentive to our needs. Halloween weekend is a fun time to visit, didn’t realize they shut the town down which was cool and being an artsy town the costumes were so fun. Great hiking trails close by.

For a summer stay this is just fantastic. The grounds and pool are show-stopping. Beautifully landscaped, immaculate pool at a perfect temperature, and set in peaceful, wooded serenity. Richard is an excellent host and lovely person. The cabin is a private gem with a gorgeous garden and large, beautiful, shaded pool. There’s also a vine-covered outdoor dining area with a grill next to the pool. Great location, very close to downtown Woodstock. So quiet and relaxing!
