Your welcome to watch some of Lexingtons best sport horses train in all 3 sports, Eventing, Dressage, or Hunter/Jumper arenas. tour the grounds, visit the foals or yearlings, get to know more about the future of racing in Kentucky and learn first hand what makes Marimac farm so special.

Join us for an evening glass of bourbon, slow life down, take a seat in one of the ole black wooden rocking chairs on the front porch and discuss the days events together as the sunsets over the yearling paddock just feet away.

Its fall and that ushers in the bonefire pit. feel free to order wood stocked and ready for you to set lite upon your arrival. Marshmallow kits and chocolate bars are standing at the ready, packed along side the graham crackers just waiting to be made into gooey s'mores. your options are limitless. come enjoy a fully working horse farm and experience our daily way of life.

The Cottage is small in size but it is packed with creature comforts. New Mattresses, plush feather down comforters, a mixture of firm and soft pillows on each bed. Soft, warm throws lay on the backs of each chair begging to be wrapped and snuggled around your body. Read a good book or catch a movie on Netflix.

A soft brown, leather couch beckons you in for movie night, hot cocoa and popcorn at the ready, Netflix offer's up unlimited options for cool evenings at home.
The fridge is ready in the event you bring home leftovers from the restaurant down the way. wake up early in the morning to a hot cup of coffee and create a savory omelette while sitting on the back porch as the sunrises. enjoy your birds eye view of the horses as grooms collect them from the paddocks early each morning and move them into the barns.
Don't feel like venturing out? arrange for a private chef to stock the fridge or prepare healthy foods in advance to have on hand, packed tightly into containers, they are ready to be heated at a moments notice.

Arrange for a massage therapist to come to the cottage. They use local bourbon and sugar scrubs, paired with hot oils to ensure your every ache is attended to. Tough day at the Horsepark? call ahead and have them meet you at the farm, for a couples massage perhaps? add in a bottle of wine from the local Winery, just up the road 5 minutes or so.

Marimac Farm offers many luxurious that can be customized to your needs. If you do not want to clean or prefer a fresh set of sheets added to the bed, give us a call and the maid can pop over and attend to the request as needed. do you want/need groceries? the chef can meet any allergy or dietary need you may have. Meal prep, no problem! With Whole Foods just 20 minutes away, Fresh Market 18, Kroger 7 minutes away and soon we will welcome a new Publix within a 6 Minute drive.

Bring your horse and have a staycation. Utilize the arenas, set a jump course and enjoy your day. Have the head groom bath your horse and groom them after a long day at the show or prepare them for one in advance, so you can sleep in!
School over a ditch and practice that jump. Need a riding buddy, you can usually find someone riding throughout the day. The indoor arena welcomes everyone, even in the winter months.
Coming to Lexington area for the Holidays? Have the staff setup a Christmas tree and bring your horse with you. Enjoy the best of both worlds!

If you do not already ride, thats ok! Horses are amazing creatures and often just feeding them a carrot or giving them a brush is enough to lower your blood pressure.

his is truly a magical place to spend a few days. either feeding the horses, or simple watching them, evening bonfires, to massages, from Keenland race track, Ky Horse Park, the bourbon trail or the winery, either fishing in the pond to taking the kayak across it, you cant beat simply running with the dogs through the open fields, this is a magical time to be our guest at Marimac Farm.
