Villa Šore is a private countryside home in the peaceful village of Dugobabe, surrounded by the authentic landscape of the Dalmatian hinterland. The entire property is exclusively yours, with no other guests sharing the house, garden or pool.
The outdoor area is designed for relaxing and spending time together. Enjoy the heated swimming pool, comfortable sun loungers and a covered outdoor barbecue and dining area right by the pool. There is also a separate enclosed barbecue hut with its own kitchen and dining table, perfect for preparing meals and enjoying long lunches or evenings together.
The garden features three old olive trees beautifully illuminated at night, along with almond and fig trees, creating a warm Mediterranean atmosphere.
The house is suitable for couples, friends and families with children. The village is quiet and rural, with friendly local neighbours and a small shop just a few hundred metres away.
Villa Šore is conveniently located just 20 minutes from Split and 5 minutes from the motorway, making it a great base for exploring Dalmatia. Split, Zadar, Šibenik and Dubrovnik can all be visited by car. Free private parking is available on the property.
Villa Šore offers the best of both worlds: the peace and privacy of the countryside, with the coast, Split and the sights of Dalmatia within easy reach.

Villa Šore is our family’s second home, a place where we love to escape from the everyday routine and spend time together in the peace of the countryside. We live near Split and have always enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere and simple pleasures of life in Dugobabe.
We created Villa Šore as a place for our family to enjoy, and we are happy to share it with our guests. We love spending time by the pool, cooking and having meals together outdoors, especially in the evenings when the olive trees light up the garden.
As hosts, we want our guests to feel comfortable and welcome while also having complete privacy. We are always happy to share local recommendations and help you discover the area.

Why they chose this property

We chose Dugobabe because we love the peace, nature and authentic atmosphere of the Dalmatian countryside. It is a small, quiet village where you can slow down and enjoy a more relaxed way of life, away from the crowds and busy tourist areas.
At the same time, the location is very convenient. Split is only about 20 minutes away by car, while the motorway is just 5 minutes away, making it easy to explore the coast and other parts of Dalmatia.
What we enjoy most is having the best of both worlds: spending a quiet morning in the countryside, surrounded by olive, almond and fig trees, and being able to reach Split and the coast whenever we want. The occasional sight of cows or sheep passing through the village is part of the charm and everyday life here.

What makes this property unique

What makes Villa Šore special is that it is our family’s second home, not simply a holiday rental. We created it as a place where our family can relax, spend time together and enjoy the outdoors, and we are happy to share that experience with our guests.
The entire property is private, so guests have the house, garden, heated pool and outdoor spaces exclusively to themselves. The outdoor area is designed for enjoying time together, with sun loungers by the pool, a covered barbecue and dining area, and a separate enclosed barbecue hut with its own kitchen and dining table.
We especially love the atmosphere in the evening, when the three old olive trees in the garden are illuminated. Together with the almond and fig trees, they give the property a warm Mediterranean character.
Villa Šore is a place to slow down, enjoy good food and company, relax by the pool and experience a quieter side of Dalmatia — while still being close to Split and the coast.
