4 Bedrooms, 2 Bath in a quaint duplex. Sleeps 10 in 5 queen beds made up with fresh linens. Two full bathrooms with fresh towels and washcloths. Spacious open floor plan with large bright living room, 3 comfy couches, 2 armchairs and flat screen TV. Kitchen has granite counter tops and is stocked with basic dishes, flatware, glassware, pots and pans. The large dining room table provides ample space for all. Move the group outdoors to the spacious deck with picnic tables and gas grill overlooking Franklin Street. Just a few minutes' walk from downtown Watkins Glen and the entrance to Watkins Glen State Park. Easy check in with door code.

If you choose not to bring a vehicle and wish to visit destinations beyond walking distance, transportation within Watkins Glen State Park is available for a nominal fee, and arrangements can be made for transportation for wine tours and other events by visiting the Watkins Glen Chamber of Commerce website

Perfect location for seeing many beautiful parks and museums. Corning, Ithaca, Elmira for hiking and golf were all nearby.

Perfect location to get around downtown Watkins Glen and to travel to local attractions. Walkable to the Watkins Glen gorge entrance. The house was spacious and had everything we needed. Host was vey communicative.

Response from the host was very fast in resolving a couple issues! Really, they were great! The location was awesome! We were right in town in a quiet neighborhood. We appreciated the picnic table outside and the main living area was spacious. However, this place was not clean. There were many stains on the dining chairs and living room couches. We had to clean the refrigerator. A sheet was stained. The grill was dirty, as was the kitchen table. The shades in the very cramped room with 2 beds still let a lot of light in. The streetlights outside were letting light in. We bought coat hangers because there were none, along with a metal colander so we could steam veggies. It was lacking a blender and there were not many forks. Most of the mattresses were lumpy. This could be an awesome place if a few missing pieces were added and the place was deep cleaned.

Spacious rental that can accommodate many. However, bugs and spider webs all over the living room. Door combination was the same for both units A and B, which is unsafe in my opinion. Accidently went into the wrong one when we arrived and it had other guests inside. Front door you could see daylight around, and the deadbolt did not seem like it was securing anything. Rugs and couches needing to be steamed cleaned. Spots all over them. We all felt dirty when sitting on the couches. Silverware just thrown in the draw even though there was an organizer for it. Disappointed that they charge 40 to arrive early, so we did not which gave them plenty of time to clean. Not sure who cleans for them, but may want to hire someone else. I do have pictures but did not upload them. Communication was great.

Great location

Property is in a great location. The place could use some updates. A new coffee pot and a few updated pots and pans would be a nice addition for the kitchen. Overall the place was comfortable for our family trip.

This property is perfect if you are in town for an event at Watkins Glen; the house is very well kept; the owner provides excellent communication and responds very quickly. We will definitely return next time we are in town for any Watkins Glen events.

Highly recommend this stay in Watkins Glen!

I was very impressed with this property. The check in process was extremely easy and the property was clean/as pictured. Courtney was very helpful with our questions. I would definitely select this place again when we visit Watkins Glen.

Super stay!

This house is exactly as written…perfect for large group with plenty of super comfortable seating and sleeping. Location is so convenient to State park, lake activities and restaurant/bars. Park your car and forget about it. Everything thoroughly clean and in great shape. A great find!

Wonderful location, decent place

Walking distance to the state park and downtown. Was great to leave the car parked and explore. Fairly well stocked kitchen although need 1 more chair at the table. General cleanliness could be improved, couch and carpet stains were off putting.

Perfect for graduation weekend

This property was everything and more for our son’s Cornell graduation weekend. Very clean and roomy for my family of six. The kitchen had everything needed to prepare meals throughout our stay. Courtney was always helpful with any questions and very quick to respond. The town of Watkins Glen was very welcoming and friendly. Enjoyed walking to Tobey’s for doughnuts( delicious), Pudgies for pizzas (delicious) and Ben & Jerry’s for late evening ice cream (delicious)! Overall, very pleased and thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Death in family, proximity important

The house is a grat location, within walking distance to town. The place had everything we needed, however there was a musty smell when you enter. A can of deodorizer is needed, and worked well. The television in the bedroom didnt work and the one in the living room only worked the first day. We wanted to use them music. I left a message with the nuber provided but never got a response.I would stay there again.

Great location

The house was in a great location. Able to walk to everything in Watkins Glen. Access to the park, resturants, ice cream shops, shops etc,,, Nice to have 4 seperate bedrooms and 3 sofas for relaxing. Had an issue with the frig leaking and the proprty manager sent someone right over. Getting the televisions to work was a challenge. Would've liked better qualitity sheets and pillows but not a game changer. Overall would recomend for a large family or group.

Well kept house in the Glen

Rented for family Christmas get together. Clean and warm and easy to get to. Had a circuit breaker cut off the hot water and discovered that the tank also was leaking a bit. Immediate response from management. One chair in the dining area was broken and needed to be replaced. 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms are great. Kitchen could use a few more plates and glasses, :Lots of wine glasses,

The place was nice and a good change from the local hotels. It was clean and had most everything you would need. Plenty of room! This would be the first time I have stayed in a place like this. The few things that I thought should be better was the internet, way too slow. I thought the towels where either too old or not of good quality. The door squeaked when opening and closing, which made it hard to move through the house at night and not wake someone up. We had for people and there was just enough hot water. These are just things that I think could be better, but I would definitely stay there again without these changes.

Can’t highly recommend

Pros-The space inside the unit and proximity to downtown Watkins Glen was great! Steps to the state park. Beds were decently comfortable. Most of the rooms had storage with the exception of one BR with 2 queen beds. The contact person responded to inquiries quickly before we arrived. Cons-the unit didn’t seem maintained well. The gutter over the entry door was clogged and created a waterfall soaking all those entering. The cleaning was half-heartedly done (hair on sheets, in bathrooms, dirty windows, stains on furniture and rugs etc.). There was also no washer/dryer unit. It would be a better choice for renting if more effort and care was put into maintaining and detailing the rental because the space was nice.

Family and friends trip

Two of us have been to the Finger Lakes several times and the other 4 were being introduced to this amazing area. Only 4 stayed in this house. The location of this house is simply perfect. Walk to the State Park, so no paying the parking fee or battling traffic. Easy walk to the harbor and all the shops and restaurants, we even found courts to play pickleball at the local high school! Courtney was quick to respond to a couple texts, no complaints on the issues or her responses. Well-stocked kitchen and bathrooms. The downsides were minimal: there are no lights above a mirror anywhere, putting on makeup was a guessing game. No back door- there is parking behind the house, up a steep drive, but we came back to street parking because it was easier to unload. No issues at all, it’s a one way street and lots of room in front of the house. Wi-fi worked fine in the front room, not so great the further back in the house. As did the air conditioning, the back room was warm even with two box fans. My bed was too soft for two people, the others had no complaints. Personal preference. All in all we enjoyed our stay very much.

Convenient location, and mostly great stay

The condo is conveniently located walk distance to Watkins Glen State Park and little downtown with several restaurants, ice cream shops etc. It's also close to Seneca Lake harbor. For that it was awesome. Wish there was a bit of backyard or front yard for kids to play, but none of that. Not much of a view either, but that's alright. The reason for non-five-star ratings is first of all, the water boiler is way to small. On multiple occasion we were running out of hot water (and this was a hot weekend stay, so I can only imagine that being worse in colder months). We had a 9 people group, 4 adults and 5 kids. No way 5 people could shower the same morning without running out of hot water. And I mean, quick 3-5 minutes showers. Secondly, there could be a bit more utensils, plates/cups for the group. According to the listing it sleeps 10, but there was barely enough mugs/cups enough for us. We had to constantly wash something for another person to use it. A few extra would go a long way. Some basics we usually expect were not there - scissors, potato masher etc. Some blinds were damaged letting a morning light right in. Finally, the fridge kept leaking. We didn't call the owner as we were in and out there for just a few days and didn't want to waste our vacay time on dealing with that, but we mentioned it to the cleaners who came up to bring the trashcan one day, and they had seemed to known about the issue. Wish it had been addressed prior to our stay. Overall an OK stay.
