About this property

Kim's Place private apartment - uninterrupted ocean views at your doorstep

Kim's Place is a self contained apartment with Queen bed, ensuite, living area and balcony. It is located on the ground floor of our architect designed family home. Guests have their own private access to the apartment.
The kitchenette is equipped with microwave, toaster, small fridge, coffee and tea necessities and a portable single element induction cooking plate.
There is no built in cook top or oven in the kitchenette. There is a Weber BBQ on the guest balcony.
The bedroom has a queen size bed. The en-suite has a shower, toilet and basin, (no bath). The balcony and living area have extensive beach and ocean views.
The beach is a a short walk across the road and down the park. Cafes and shops of Stanwell Park village are an easy 5 minutes walk from the apartment. The apartment is ideally suited for couples.

Very Relaxing.

Beautiful place, very clean, comfy bed and great views. We loved watching the paragliders up in the sky, and coming into land. Lots of activities to do nearby, or just sit on the verandah and watch the waves. Thanks Kim, we really enjoyed our stay :)

Perfect Getaway

We stayed from April 23-27 & had a great time here. It was perfect for us. The Hosts were great. Everything was easy. The accomodation was perfect. We loved sitting outside on the large balcony in the Sun overlooking the Beach. We went for some walks around the area & just relaxed a lot. We would love to come back.

A hidden gem close to home

Kim's place is a wonderful holiday place to relax, recuperate and just enjoy the great views from the balcony and living room. We stayed there for 2 nights, which was too short. We had recently lost our much beloved 14 and a half year old German Shepherd and this was our first holiday without her. Listening to and watching the waves brought me a measure of peace and calm. Kim is also a great host, easy to communicate with and gave us full privacy. We will be back for a longer stay.

New location for us

The access is terrible from the Wollongong area.Drive up is very steep and difficult to find and you cannot turn around. Also the road is very windy and hilly for some kms. It is maybe easier from the Sydney end! Location is excellent once you are there- StanwellPark is great

Such a shame John found the road along the coast, The Grand Pacific Drive, a challenging one. Yes, it is windy and hilly as the road hugs the coast and is at the base of the escarpment, offering spectacular views of the coast - very different from the flat planned streets of Canberra where John is used to driving.

Great little place !

Beautiful views, modern & clean. Bathroom /toilet area a bit quirky with having no doors at all. Had everything you need and pretty close to cafes. Kim absolutely lovely to deal with and so helpful. Only negative aspect we found was noise from above with chairs moving and when cleaning upstairs .
