This was a wonderful place to stay! We had a small problem with the bathroom and the property owner responded quickly to give a solution to the issue. They we so kind and understanding. The only other issues we had was the address does not go directly to the home with Google maps but we found the place fairly quickly. And we had to adjust to using the small oven unit. It is a beautiful home and made a great location for my mom's 65th birthday get away. It's super close to Hocking hills and the town has fun things to with small groups! I would definitely book this house again. Great memories were made.

Absolutely beautiful house full of history. Jeff and Sherri were fantastic and we had the pleasure of meeting Jeff at checkout and he was very nice. All of the amenities worked great and we felt like we were staying in our very own little inn. Would absolutely stay here again.
Lovely and charming. Highly recommend and we will be back!

Beautiful home!!!! Love it! We will be coming back. This is the home you must stay in!
The home is well maintained, clean, spacious, comfortable and so much more. We were there in a genealogical quest and it was perfectly located between Chillicothe, Point Pleasant and Marietta. The owners are very kind and gracious. We recommend this home to anyone wanting to visit the area!!

The house was a great location outside of Hocking Hills Ohio. The owner was very responsive and the house have everything. We need it with a really cool charm.
Nice area. The pictures do not do this beautiful house justice. Kids loved reading about the house. Perfect for our family vacation and close to Hocking Hills for hiking. Thank you for sharing this beauty with us!
The Farrow House is beautiful, and the deck, the hot tub and the view of the river were all wonderful. The owners were very responsive and helpful. My friends and I and our daughters very much enjoyed the time we spent here.

Disliked: Communication, listing accuracy
10 women. 2 rolls of toilet paper. Cobwebs and dead bugs in dining room window. Asked when we’d be there so the alarm system could be disarmed, but it wasn’t. Mystery cookie in window sill of bedroom. Listing should make it aware that all bedrooms & the 1 bathroom are on the 2nd floor. My 92 year old mom & my sister that has suffered a stroke had to use a camping toilet & sleep on the couches. Should also give warning about the drive over the railroad tracks! Very scary!

Wow! It is unfortunate that when booking a home for special needs people that as a family member you did not ask these questions to ensure that your mother and sister were not embarrassed or made to feel like an inconvenience to your family. The listing definitely states that this home is not handicap accessible. Please make sure in the future that you read the descriptions better instead of blaming it on an unknowing host. We leave 4 rolls of toilet paper for guest no matter the size because we know some use more than others. Additional toilet paper was located under the bathroom sink. However if I was staying somewhere and ran out of toilet paper I probably would have went to the local grocery (less than a mile away) and purchased a new pack for a couple dollars instead of posting it publicly. We do our best to accommodate everyone but sometime we have no idea how much of something guest will use. The next time you book you should look for a brand new build,These older homes have flaws, if there was a cookie in the window it was more than likely hidden by the curtain when we cleaned. We do not clean window seals after every guest. However can we speak about how spotless the rest of the home was and how cozy the beds were with the fresh clean sheets, how amazing the location was with a river right in the backyard and the amazing back porch and hot tub and free coffee bar! Please stop using reviews to try to crush small businesses. You were uncomfortable because of your flaws
The house itself was incredible. It has such a Victorian vibe (without the ghosts unfortunately) We had our whole family with us and it slept all 10 of us very comfortably. By comfortably I mean verrrry comfortably, the beds were great, and every room has it's own style and personality. The kitchen is fully equipped, and the stove is the coolest! I want one in my house! We were easily able to feed all 10 people. (Thank god for the dishwasher.) The magnum opus, the back deck, was AMAZING! We all enjoyed the hot tub, but honestly, the back deck is the perfect gathering hub even without it. The kids loved the jumbo Jenga, and we loved the peace and quiet after dark. Check in was a breeze, and we were able to get everyone in and settled stress free, which is the best when you're looking for a restful getaway. All in all, 10/10 stay, we will definitely be returning for a mini vacation in the foothills!
We enjoyed game night under the lights on the back deck, reading on the front porch swing, or just relaxing in one of the very comfortable beds or the living room. Enough space for everyone to do their own thing, and still space to play games together. Homeowners very responsive and helpful. About 20 minutes from all the Hocking Hills hiking and attractions, but that is what made it a great location. Would recommend any activities with hockinghillsadventuretrek and Jackie O's restaurant in Athens.

Thank you for the kind words Sherri, We are glad you and the family enjoyed our family home. We hope to see you year after year. You are welcome back anytime!
We stayed at the farrow house for 5 days. It was wonderful. Even though there is now central air the house was comfortable. We loved the historical aspect of it. It was so easy to just walk into town for coffee in the mornings for the older kids. We loved the family time and it was so easy to just get to every where. Thank you to Sherri and Jeff for opening their home.

Thank you for staying Courtney and for the wonderful review. We actually have checked into central air but the installers suggested to not compromise the historic aesthetics of the home that we should continue to use the 5 window air conditioner that we have installed. They are sufficient in cooling the house and they keep us from having huge vents running through the walls and floors. Trust me it has been considered especially since we probably pay double for the electric bills by having the window units . Please come back anytime, You would love the Fall in The Hocking Hills.

Perfect setting for a large group
We had such a wonderful experience in this beautiful home. We loved the Victorian pieces and the large sitting room was ideal for our girls weekend. The back porch was our favorite spot for our morning coffee. Even though the house only had one bathroom it really didn’t present a problem and was large enough to accommodate multiple people getting ready at once. We have said multiple times how much we would love to come back. Communication with the hosts was quick and seamless. They even left us fresh orange juice and eggs!!

Jessica You and the girls were amazing guest and left the place spotless. I appreciate everything you did before you left. Anytime you would like to come back please contact me!!! Thanks so much! I am glad you enjoyed our area.
The Farrow House was perfect! A beautiful Victorian style home. Plenty of beds for our group of 7. The dining room was spectacular with the table all set for a fancy meal! We loved watching the rafters floating down the river from the back deck and when sitting on the front porch waved to the people on the trains going by. The house was very clean, beds were comfortable, and we loved the antiques. We made a bonfire and had s'mores one night which was a blast! The front yard has 2 ponds with lots of fish. The grandkids ages 4 and 6 enjoyed the weekend as much as the adults! I would definitely stay here again! Thank you!
