Thank you for your wonderful feedback! We’re so glad to hear you had a fantastic stay and enjoyed the property. It was a pleasure hosting you, and we’re always here to help. Hope to see you again soon!
We had an amazing weekend getaway! Everything was perfect from start to finish. Communication was prompt and helpful, check-in was a breeze, and the instructions for arrival and departure were clear and simple. The space was beautiful and fit our group of 16 perfectly. We’ll definitely be booking again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great stay!

Thank you so much for the kind words! We're thrilled to hear you had an amazing weekend and that everything went smoothly for your group. It was a pleasure hosting you, and we’d love to welcome you back anytime. Thanks again for the recommendation!
Cottage is in a perfect location - loved the ski in / ski out although the lift closes early. Very clean & very well set up property - fit our group of 10 no issues. Would definitely stay here again.
Had 16 people stay at house for a golf tournament and was perfect set up for just one weekend.
The lack of linens was tough because the one bed is a King which no one had sheets for. Also no hand towels or drying dish towels available which was unusual. Never was able to get AC working and keeping windows open wasn't allowed because of the 24/7 noise violations (security service came by to let me know).
Overall, great place especially for the price.

Thanks for the review and I am glad you had a good time. I do apologize that you were surprised on the lack of hand and dish towels but that was also mentioned in the add, the booking info you received and the check in info.. As for the A/C, if you would have given me a text or a call on this , I would have been able to help you with getting the A/C on, as the unit has an eco bee thermostat and I could have switched it over for you if you had trouble. I look forward to hosting you again.

A great spot but lacking a few important pieces
this home is great and perfectly equipped for large groups, in terms of space. But there were several key items missing from the property. Things as simple as having enough bowls, serving dishes, a wine opener etc. in short, this home was not fully equipped with everything that you would need. There was also a dirty sock in one of the beds. So from a cleanliness perspective, there’s room for improvement.Lastly, the image and listing indicate a fire pit with chairs, but the host actually expects you to carry eight chairs from the upper deck all the way down two flights of stairs and around the back of the house to enjoy the fire pit. Which is simply false advertising and an extreme inconvenience. The AC barely worked and we all had uncomfortable sleeps due to the heat

Hi Claudia, thanks so much for your honest feedback, we really appreciate you taking the time to share your experience. We’re truly sorry to hear about the missing kitchen items and the cleanliness issue. We do have extra kitchen supplies available, and had we known during your stay, we would’ve been more than happy to send someone over with whatever you needed. We've also reached out to our cleaning team to address the sock situation and make sure this doesn’t happen again in the future.
Regarding the fire pit chairs, our apologies for the inconvenience. We actually do have a set of chairs intended to stay around the fire pit, but sometimes guests move them up to the deck and we don’t always know if they’ve been returned. As for the AC, thank you for mentioning it. We weren’t made aware of any issues during your stay, but we had our technician check it right after and everything seemed to be working as expected. It’s just been extremely hot lately, and unfortunately, the unit can struggle to keep up when temperatures spike...Again, we’re really sorry for the inconvenience, and we’ll use your feedback to keep improving. We hope you still had a great time overall, and we'd love the chance to host you again under better circumstances.
The cottage worked perfectly for our group of 16. The owner was responsive through the whole process and the listing was accurate so we knew exactly what to expect. Thanks!
We had a great time and the house was excellent, clean, exactly as described. The only complaint I have is that this is not really a Ski In and Out. You can get to the top of the Wielder Chair lift from the cottage. But you have to walk some of it, and then ski some. Coming back is a challenge. There is a large hill you have to walk up, and then you can kinda ski/walk the rest of the way. By the time you get back you are exhausted. And, that chair lift closes at 4:30, so after that you cannot even go down the mountain from there, you have to drive. It's a very short drive to the next chair lift, where you can park your vehicle, but with kids wanting to come and go this doesn't work. Great place, but if you are looking for Ski In and Ski Out this is not that.
More than enough space for our group of 16. Tv in family room wasn't connecting to satellite, Dan asked if we wanted him to send someone out to look at it, but since we were there to get away from the norm I let him know it wasn't necessary. Overall we had an enjoyable weekend, was quite a windy one.
The house was great for our family weekend getaway from the city. Lots of room for everyone!

Pictures are deceiving.
Unfortunately this was a big disappointment we’ve stayed at plenty of cottages and never encountered what we encountered here, pictures we’re definitely deceiving! In the add the pictures showed chairs around the fire pit which there weren’t, it says that with Covid protocol there is extra cleaning measures in place which clearly was not the case. This cottage is in a state of disrepair to the point where we we’re concerned for the kids health and safety starting with the broken glass window that looked like one sudden move could have landed on someone, the fridge downstairs which burned one of the kids hand because the coils are against the railing, bloody sheets, holes in wall, kitchen drawer that don’t close, frige that doesn’t close, mold under the kitchen sink and in the washroom and not to mention the poor state of the couches. We did contact Dan right away about the mattress that had a huge blood stain and the dirty mattress protects and he quickly had someone there with extras but at the end of the day we shouldn’t have walked into that.

I do and did apologize to this tenant about what she arrived to but it was delt with as quickly as possible. They did arrive and find a huge stain on the King mattress that looked like blood but turned out to be wine. But to find this stain they had to remove a mattress pad and a bed bug cover which had been put over top of the stain. Once I was made aware of the stain the next morning I had a brand new king mattress dropped off and installed for the rest of her stay.
But once the stain was found this turned into a nightmare tenant. The main tenant didn’t even call me to complain or resolve the issue, she had her mother who was not even staying at the cottage call be to resolve the issue. In the mean time She proceeded to remove all the mattress pads and bed bug covers and request new ones at 7pm at night for all 12 beds,. Which we did do. Then when 2 of my staff showed up to switch over the covers, they arrived to a very angry drunk tenant that proceeded to yell and swear at my staff. So bad that one of the other guests had to intervene and come the main renter down. This happened again when my staff dropped off the new king mattress in the early afternoon the next day but this time she was not drunk. The window was cracked as well and we were aware of it but it was damaged after the last tenant and we did have to order the new glass to have it replace. it is going to be replace this week. As for the rest of the complaints, none of these issues were brought up to me unit after the rental and I would have been able to solve them for the tenant if I had a chance to. Unfortunately, you can not always please everyone but we will do our best. Again I do apologize for this experience.
Dan was super responsive and the property is in a great location.
Great communication from Dan. The only thing I would say that needs improvement would be just the cleanliness. There were crumbs in corners and dirt on the beds. Nothing major off putting as the listing required us to bring our own linens - but overall acceptable.
Would book this place again!
PS: Bring your own lawn chairs for the fire pit!
The chalet has great location and we really enjoyed the number of bedrooms and the spacious living room. It was super convenient to have a dishwasher and plastic cutlery provided in the kitchen cabinets. However, we found it was unreasonable to be limited to 5 garbage bags max. as we were a group of 14 and stayed there for 5 nights, naturally we collected way more garbage. Additionally some of the beds were a little uncomfortable. Overall, all we enjoyed our stay and the host was very attentive to check in quite frequently and made sure to address our concerns.
We stayed 2 nights for a college reunion get together. There were a few little things left from previous guests (some garbage in the yard) but otherwise was clean and ready for us. The space was well suited to our needs, and the master bedroom is impressive. We had 10 people staying, and there was plenty of sleeping and eating space for everyone. The wifi was not the best, and the yard space was shared with the neighbouring house - but otherwise we had a great time. We went into town once, and it was within easy driving distance. Overall, a very positive experience.
We were a group of 4 adults and 4 children. We had a great stay at this property! There were more than enough bedrooms for everyone. We loved that the dining room table could fit all of us and so could the couch. Large yard for the kids to run around and perfect for backyard games. Only about 8-10 minutes to Blue Mountain Village, and maybe 15 min to Collingwood if you need to pick up extra groceries/supplies etc. which was super convenient. Would definitely recommend this property for a group! We would stay again for sure.
Photos are deceiving and portray a false image. A large backyard is portrayed but there are neighbours in the back

This is a negative review because I had to take this guys damage deposit for the mess that he left at my property. As for the complaint about the size of the property. This property is a 100ft x 200ft lot so it is a big property and has access to the Brucetrail out the back..
this cottage was amazing! I will be booking other properties in the near future!!

The location was fab, house a decent size, but the mattresses were horrible. I have never had such an uncomfortable sleep. In fact I thought I took my back out, by the third night I could barely walk or stand, which made the rest of our trip pretty bad because I couldn’t take the kids anywhere... when I got home and slept on a decent mattress again I was nearly instantly better! I never realized how much a mattress can affect a back. Other than that it was a great space and location.
Quiet, secluded, perfect for private family vacations. Mere minutes to ski to the slopes in the winter, or take the gondola down to Blue Mountain Village in the summer. 2 thumbs up.
