GURNEY BNB .......A unique Georgetown B&B with the most beautiful garden

Gurney BNB is owned by a brother and sister . The property was newly renovated in 2016 to recreate a place that reflects the nostalgic 1960s decor and architecture in Penang . Located right in the middle of Penang's golden triangle of shopping and eating , Gurney Drive . It is a mere 3 mins walk to Gurney Paragon and Gurney Plaza , and 10 mins walk to the best fresh market in town , Pulau Tikus. The Gurney Drive night hawker centre is right behind the house, including a Starbucks, Wendys and Seoul Garden restaurants. This property is 10 minutes by Taxi, car or UBER from Georgetown city .

This room is ideal for a couple away on a romantic escapade , or just a couple who likes to spend some quiet time away from the city attractions and city traffic . Access to the room is through the beautiful garden. The room has an attached bathroom fully equipped with air conditioner, toilet , wash basin, and hot shower .

Guests are welcome to use the main house facilities , like the dining room , the main hall for TV or reading . The pantry cum dining room is well equipped for for guests to make a light breakfast but not cooking . There is a toaster , microwave , fridge , kettle , cups, plates and cutlery . There is no cooking stove .

As the hosue is located in a quiet dead end road , it is a very quiet property with little traffic in the evenings . I will be most grateful if guests respect the neighbourhood and keep noise level ,low after 11pm to 6 am .
