I booked and paid for this property month in advance. I attempted to contact the owner through VRBO' app texting 4 dofferent times to check on the booking and the checkin process. The day before we were to arrive, I had to contact VRBO and advice them I have not heard from the host regarding checkin. VRBO said they would reach out to the host, and if the host did not respond to VRBO, they would refund my money, which they did. I had to find another property the day before and which cost us more money for last minute. Ironically the only response from the host was the day I was to check out, no apologies for their lack of communication or inconvenience. They just said, sure we will give you a refund. Give us your bank info. I would never provide the owner with my bank info, it goes through VRBO. And as I said, VRBO, refunded me the money the day after I filed my complaint. The host is not reliable. As far as VRBO, they get a gold.star for customer support.
