When you get hungry, whip up a delicious home-cooked meal in the fully equipped kitchen with stainless steel appliances, or head outside to cook on the gas grill. With a 6-person dining table inside and lounge furniture outside, you can easily enjoy meals inside or out!

For a tranquil night's sleep, take solace in the loft housing a sumptuous queen-sized bed. Comfortable sleeping arrangements can be found throughout the rest of the home which includes a twin-over-full bunk bed and queen-sized sleeper sofa.

Quiet cabin, could use window shades

The Shelburne cabin was a great home base for a getaway in the Berkshires. The cabin offered a great kitchen space, ample sleeping for a family of 5 and a wonderful field for hiking. Although very private, my family with three teenage girls would have been more comfortable if there was a shade in the bathroom and rear sleeping area.

Very happy to find this rental, perfect place to lay your head at night. Very clean and spacious cabin with a great deal of privacy. Would definitely recommend this rental to any interested in getting away for the weekend or even longer.

Perfect little cabin in the woods. You feel a million miles away from the hustle and bustle of a busy town yet you’re right around to corner to a lot of conveniences. Love it.

There was a bat the first night

The place is, exactly as others reviewed, not perfectly clean. The bathroom was clean, but the living room hardwood floor and loft carpet floor were dirty. Not that type of house that you want to take off your socks (maybe even shoes). The first night we stayed, right before we are ready to go to sleep, we found a bat flying low in the living room. The celling was high (it's a loft studio), so we thought that the bat was resting near the chimney. The "property manager" was on vacation, we called the number that was left on the table, only were told that "bats are wonderful beautiful creatures and they eat mosquitos", and he won't be able to come since it's almost midnight that we "either sleep with it, or open the doors and wait for it to fly out". Luckily the bat fly out in the next hour and when we wake up the second morning, the view in front of the house was beautiful (with the water and the trees). Overall, the experience was fine. The house has a beautiful front porch where we spent majority of our stay. In side was fine but not as clean as a hotel room. Also, the on call contact called the second morning to check in with us, which is nice of him.

The cabin was nice: fireplace was great, kitchen was good, great location, and nice open floor plan. The mattress and beds left a little to be desired. Slept downstairs first night: mattress is collapsing through the bed. Slept upstairs the next night which was better, but not great. Place is nice and would probably stay there again.

I spent a weekend here with my daughter and her boyfriend. I was drawn by the Spring-fed pool and the overall setting of the cabin, all which were beautiful. We spent a lot of time on the front porch (even in the rain), and toured Shelburne Falls, which was really quaint and cute. It was a nice relaxing vacation. There are some deficiencies in the cabin that I relayed to the Guest contact (who never responded). Mostly I made suggestions regarding small, inexpensive things that would make one's stay a little nicer (reading lamp and night table in bedroom, better stocked kitchen, Kleenex, grilling utensils, some pool-side furniture to name a few). The kitchen was not super clean. Overall the place was nice but if you are not comfortable on ladders, sleeping in the loft would be a challenge. I am not sure that I will return to the cabin, as I found that the daily price did not meet my expectations for the amenities offered.

Quiet and secluded. Just want we wanted!

Had a wonderful long weekend with our children! Kids had a blast searching for salamanders, and bird watching. Our dogs loved running around the lovely property. Kitchen had everything we needed and we loved grilling outside. Just as advertised. Thank you again.

The building and setting was beautiful

The cabin was beautiful. The kitchen, living spaces, bathroom, porch, and huge fireplace in the middle of the house were stunning. The setting is back from the road and through a small apple orchard. Very quiet and peaceful. A real gem. Our only complaint was the furnishings. Old and worn mattresses, bedding, and living room furniture were a disappointment. The furniture did not match the quality of the cabin or the surroundings. An upgrade in this area would bring this property to a whole new level! As far as small things, a larger coffee maker would be appreciated. the 4 cup model on the counter was not sufficient. Overall, a beautiful stay in a beautiful place. We loved our family gathering there and would stay again.
