The house is located next to Mopac loop 1 and interstate 35 so you are within minutes to downtown and the rivers.The backyard has a deck with 2 outdoor tables and plenty of chairs with umbrella and 2 barbecue grills one uses propane and the other one is charcoal it is fenced for your privacy and security for your pets and children while they played. The Host Ben communicated very well. Very nice house with interior decorations, but it needs some deep cleaning and updating of furniture and some appliances. Bedrooms were smaller than expected and several had no dresser to store clothes. Closets (not all bedrooms had closets) lacked sufficient hangers. Water pressure was good for multiple showers. Location was a nice residential area that was very peaceful and safe. It was perfect for the 8 of us. Issues: Clothing items were left under master bedroom sink (we bagged then & put in the garage), drawers were not cleaned out and wiped down, we found several greasy kitchen items (pots, pans, serving items that we washed prior to using). The backyard hose was left on the patio uncoiled and was a tripping hazard (I move it against the house for safety). One car in the driveway was no problem. Two cars in the driveway was a potential falling hazard. The driveway was 4-5 inches higher than the of grass and with two cars we had to park very close to the driveway edge (Not sure how to solve that problem). We had a problem starting the dishwasher after a few days, so we hand washed. One bedroom window sill was loaded with dead bugs which we cleaned up. Several of the return vents have not been cleaned and the artificial flowers need a good bath to get the dust off. Food some particles were found on the chairs, under the table, under a dresser, and between the sofa. The kitchen chair cushions were deteriorated under pads.

This spacious home served us well during our family’s visit to Austin. The two main floor bedrooms meant my elderly mother and disabled son did not have to use the stairs. The large kitchen and table allowed us to gather for meals and conversation. The second floor provided a place for those who needed to pull away for a moment. One thought: those sleeping upstairs may benefit from some white noise as conversations from the main floor can easily carry to the second.

I think everybody would love the house, the house is so huge and very high ceiling, I love the spacious living room, big kitchen the arch entryway, the shape of the stairway and most of all the spaces is so big especially the master bedroom with a huge bathtub.
