Disliked: Cleanliness, check-in, communication, listing accuracy
This was a nice home, but unfortunately we had to leave a 1 star review. We had requested an early check in which we were originally told was available with a fee to bring more cleaners for a shorter duration, which is understandable. We then requested an early check in and were told the team could not accommodate our request. When we did arrive at our check in time of 4pm, the property was not available. We were forced to wait outside the property for an hour until the property was cleaned enough for us to enter. We were then asked to finish laundering the towels since they did not have time to complete the laundry. During the stay, we encountered multiple bugs (i.e. cockroaches and crickets) which were a shock and constitute a clear sanitation and health risk. Additionally, the unit lacked essential supplies including toilet paper, paper towels, and dish soap. After negotiating with the host, they allowed us to purchase the supplies and stated we would be reimbursed. Then when we requested reimbursement we were told that we would not be fully reimbursed. We then had to demand a full reimbursement for the supplies before the host complied. At the end of our stay we asked the host to address the late check in and bugs, but they were dismissive of our request and refused to compensate us at all. I would caution anyone considering this listing as our experienced showed the listing was negligently managed, and we would recommend guest avoid this property.
