The host requires you to complete the following before checking out:
Load the dishwasher
Strip any used beds and gather used towels
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Lock the doors
Place used towels, wash cloths and hand towels in the wash room. Remove the fitted sheets, flat sheets and pillow cases and put them on the floor of the washroom. DON'T REMOVE THE MATTRESS COVER.
Put all trash in the trash bin on the side of the house. If trash won't fit in the bin, please tie it up and sit it on the side of the bin.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
-Absolutely no parties, gatherings, events, etc -Guests that aren't apart of the original booking, aren't allow to stay overnight. -No pets allowed
-A maximum of 4 visitors are allowed at a given time. -No Late Checkout. Guests checking out past 10am will be subject to a $50 fee
-No smoking inside the property. A fine of $250 will be imposed if guest smoke inside of the property . -Cigarette butts must be disposed of properly

The property definitely had it's issues from unlit stairwell (could not find a light switch) to an unequipped kitchen but at the top of my list was the cleanliness of the house. On the surface it looked clean until you looked at the doors, floors and the bottom cabinets near the stove. I think this property needs a little more attention paid to it before offering it as a rental. In my eyes a rental should be a home away from home. This was not. I do want to applaud the owner for responding to my inquiries promptly and moving his trash cans when being emptied after our arrival.

Thanks for your feedback Donna. As far as the stairwell is concerned, there's a light switch on the wall in the hallway downstairs and a light switch directly at the top of the steps on the right. As far as an unequipped kitchen, I truly don't understand what you mean because the kitchen literally has everything including pots, pans, stove, oven, microwave, dinnerware, glasses and a keurig. Lastly, as far as the property not being as clean as you may have expected, this is the first I've heard of these issues. I will be sure to follow up with my cleaners though and get these corrected.
