I paid for a room that was reversed. I have yet to get that reverse charge, in addition I was told I was not able to stay at property. I had to come out of pocket an additional 500 for a hotel at the Westgate.

Thank you for reaching out. However, we must clarify the situation regarding your booking for our home. Prior to your scheduled arrival, a full chargeback was initiated for your reservation. Because the payment was reversed through your financial institution, the reservation was no longer valid. We cannot allow access to the property when the funds for the stay have been withdrawn and the booking is effectively unpaid. We understand that finding last-minute accommodations at the Westgate was an unexpected expense, but we are unable to host guests who have proactively reversed their payment. We suggest you coordinate with your bank regarding the status of those reversed funds. We wish you the best in your future travels

Our stay was impacted by several issues that made it less comfortable than expected, particularly traveling with children. The heater was not functioning during our first night, leaving the home, very cold. There were also cleanliness and safety concerns, including dirty bedding and broken glass inside the home and outside near the property.Communication with the host was polite, and a repair was eventually made, but the home was not in the condition we anticipated given the price point. Future guests, especially families, may want to confirm that all essential amenities and safety items have been fully addressed prior to arrival.
