Welcome to The Donkey Farm at 1637 Sodom Hutchings Rd in Vienna, Ohio - a cozy 1-bedroom that sleeps 4 on 120 peaceful acres!
This charming farmhouse retreat features a comfortable queen bedroom and a living room with a futon to accommodate 4 guests total also have queen air mattresses as well. You'll have a well-equipped bathroom with shower with brand new washer and dryer and all the comforts of home including stove top no oven,kitchen utensils, dishwasher, toaster oven, flatscreen TV with surround sound, fireplace, AC, heating, hair dryer, and iron, WiFi,arcade games thur the house super great for kids.
This is a true working donkey farm, and having the donkeys here is a privilege we love to share with our guests. During your stay you'll meet our donkeys, plus horses, goats, ducks, chickens, cats, and dogs. There's a private lake with fishing poles provided, we do not provide bait but plenty of stores near by that sell bait also definitely have plenty of room to walk around and enjoy the animals.
A Note About Our Donkeys: For the safety of you and our animals, please enjoy viewing the donkeys from outside the fences and please do not enter the donkey pens or pastures at any time. They are friendly but protective of their space, and you can get great photos and say hello right from the fence line!

Our family of 4 with a 13 and 8 year old had a great visit! We enjoyed the goats, ducks, and donkeys, fishing in the pond, and soaking in the hot tub! Host was so kind and helpful and we got to feed animals. House was clean and as described. We had a great visit!

This place was awesome. Me and my girlfriend had a wonderful time. The amenities and everything is exactly how they say they are. And if you're looking to get away out in the country and relax the best place to go for sure. Plan on coming back soon

The Donkey Farm is an absolutely charming renovated barn. Spacious and well furnished with a beautiful fireplace, games, and a comfortable bed. I loved having Stevie and the goats right outside my door. There is a small herd of jennets in the back field that followed my dog and I when we walked the fence line. We spent many hours hiking around the area and communing with nature. I had a wonderful visit.

This is a wonderfully eclectic historic home with modern conveniences and upscale touches. Jimmy welcomed us and had a nice fire burning as we arrived. There are lots of arcade games to play and a really neat barn attached to the home with a few friendly animals. Only caution is that you need to traverse very tight circular steps or walk through a short covered but unheated area to get to the bathroom. Though this is not ideal during extremely cold nights but everything else here is outstanding!

The donkey house was good. A little quirky. walking through the cold corridor to get to the bedroom and bathroom is a little weird. Also, they only have Keurig machine, but don't have any coffee available. No drip coffee maker so come prepared. Overall it was fine.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. With the cocktail arcade machine, foosball table, pool table, pop a shot basketball, and home entertainment system, there was always something interesting to indoors. Beyond the indoor amenities, there was a beautiful farm to explore. We were able to take our dog on a few walks around the farm to see the goats, donkeys and ducks. The owner even left some feed for us to give to the ducks.With the property being a new VRBO listing, there were a few minor details that could be improved. All in all, we had a fun, relaxing weekend at the farm and hope to return someday.

The location was truly beautiful. The hot tub was nice and the kids enjoyed the pool, the pacman game and other indoor games, the donkeys, and the fishing. The kitchen was stock with utensils, cups, pots and pans, plates etc. It would of been nice to know ahead of time that the host was next door on the property and that multiple people would be walking through our area (between living room/donkey area). Definitely need privacy curtains inside. Also getting a doorbell camera vs a camera inside the house would be additional privacy. It just felt like we were constantly being watched which Definitely ruined the "get away/ privacy" one wants when renting a vrbo. There was mice droppings behind the toaster awhich I get its a farm setting but still. The fish tank did smell a little as there was moldy food at the bottom and floating. The door to the bathroom did not lock and could not be fixed. So again the peace was ruined. The set up of the house is quirky and theres multiple entry ways and not being able to secure/lock those wasnt great.Overall, 3/5. I would strongly recommend improving the privacy and security of the home and minimizing walking through guest areas when you do have visitors or at least change your listing so that people are aware ahead of time.

This place was awesome to get away for a few days, and very clean/cozy. Hosts were exceptional and very communicative. The pictures do not do the inside justice, easily one of the coolest rentals I’ve had. The farm animals on the property are also very sweet!
