About this property
Hygge High Point by Rather Be Properties
Step inside Hygge High Point, a beautifully updated 100-year-old historic home that blends old-world charm with modern comfort. Nestled in the heart of downtown, this retreat features preserved hardwood floors, curated boho décor, & thoughtful details throughout. Sleeps 5 with 2 full bathrooms, a modern kitchen, fenced yard with propane firepit, smart thermostat, fast Wi-Fi. Walkable to High Point University, cafés, boutiques, & local restaurants, or explore nearby parks & furniture showrooms.
As you enter, you’ll be greeted by a bright and welcoming living area featuring:
☆ A 50” Smart TV for streaming your favorite shows
☆ A plush brown leather sofa and two cozy accent chairs
☆ A charming (decorative) fireplace framed by built-in bookshelves stocked with books and board games
Across from the living room is a flexible drop zone, perfect for unpacking or organizing your things after check-in. Continue into the dining room, where a long wooden table seats six — ideal for family dinners, game nights, or casual morning coffee chats.
The newly remodeled kitchen is equipped with everything you need to cook and gather, including:
☆ Stainless steel appliances (full-size fridge/freezer, oven, stove, dishwasher)
☆ Coffee maker, tea kettle, toaster, and blender
☆ Pots, pans, knives, chopping boards, dishes, cups, and kids’ utensils
A cozy office nook just off the kitchen features a desk and chair — perfect for remote work, journaling, or planning your next adventure.
Bedrooms & Bathrooms
☆ 2 Bedrooms — both featuring queen beds, soft linens, and stylish décor.
☆ A fold-out twin mattress (with sheets, blanket, and pillow) is stored in the master bedroom closet for extra sleeping flexibility.
2 Bathrooms:
☆ The main bath connects to the master suite via a Jack-and-Jill door, also accessible from the hallway.
☆ The second bath doubles as a laundry room (with washer/dryer) and offers direct backyard access — perfect for post-adventure cleanups.
Outdoor Living
☆ Step through the back door into your fully fenced backyard — a private spot to unwind after a day exploring the city. Enjoy evenings gathered around the propane fire pit surrounded by comfy chairs, the perfect setup for s’mores and stories under the stars.
Comfort & Convenience
☆ Smart thermostat with central heating & air conditioning for year-round comfort
☆ Keyless entry for easy self check-in
☆ Fast Wi-Fi throughout the home
