Inside, you’ll find a bright open studio layout with a queen bed and queen sofa bed, dining for four, a full kitchen, and a well appointed bathroom. Guests have exclusive access to the rooftop deck, and their own entrance. Just minutes from the pier and Main Street, Saylor Away offers a serene blend of beach-town charm and modern comfort - an elevated stay above it all.

We had an incredible stay! The place was spotless, beautifully decorated, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The host was responsive, thoughtful, and made check-in easy. Waking up to the sunrise and feeling the ocean breeze was amazing. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway by the beach.

Super easy check-in, beautiful place in great location. Very responsive and welcoming host. To quote our 3 year old, "I didn't expect it to be so beautiful! " We will definitely look to stay again when visiting family nearby.

Very clean. Very open and airy. Very spacious bathroom with lots of counter space. My only quibble (and I admit, it is a quibble) is that there is no ice maker in fridge or ice cube trays to make ice. The rooftop deck is very private and definitely an added bonus. Beware there are alot of stairs so getting suitcase upstairs was hard for me.

Beautiful decorated, high quality appliances, rooftop patio was a treat, all in a very nice apparently very safe neighborhood, 1/2 block from the beach. Couple of minor issues: it is listed under "house", it is not, it is a very private studio apartment, well separated from the main dwelling, but still in the same building. And when unlocking the security lock on the front door, owner did not make clear that you have to hit the "check" after entering the code - took quite a while to get into the front door because of that. Otherwise, it was a lovely stay.Ron O'Brien

We were very happy with this property: clean, private and well-appointed! Host Luke lives on the premises but was completely respectful of our privacy and was friendly and communicative before, during and after our stay. We enjoyed watching the beach, ocean, boats and planes from the rooftop deck and the beach is 1/2 block away. We also kept our car parked (on-street) the entire time and walked everywhere. DT (pier, restaurants, shops) and full-service grocery store are each about 1/23/4 mile walk through the Seal Beach neighborhoods. Would definitely stay again!
