First, let me say that the host was very responsive. However, it was obvious that no one had been near this property for a long time. The "lawn" was over a foot tall, with weeds poking through the stairs to the dock. The house is in a great location, but is literally made out of plastic...you can almost poke your finger through the siding. The decks are all in some state of decay, and have been patched haphazardly. There were no paper towels when we arrived, and about three rolls of Toilet paper. As I said, the host responded quickly, but it was clear that there was very little oversight.Finally, when we checked out, we were told to put the garbage/recycling in the garage. There we were greeted by a putrid smell from the garbage that previous guests had left there.....at least several sets.
